Logitech G613

Fast as Lightning

Logitech is as close to a name brand as any gaming company specializing in computer peripherals has ever come. But they owe this kind of reputation not to some kind of excessive marketing campaign but to the consistently excellent quality of their products. When one is looking to purchase a gaming keyboard with top-notch quality of the product matching its exceptional features, that person would rightfully think of Logitech as his first choice. And if that person is you, currently being in the market for a new gaming peripheral, we wholeheartedly suggest you give the Logitech G613 Wireless Gaming Keyboard a try.

Logitech G series has been synonymous with gaming keyboards featuring cutting-edge technologies and superb quality for about as long as the aforementioned collocation exists in the first place and the Logitech G613 Wireless Gaming Keyboard is not an exception to that rule.

As the name of the product suggests, the keyboard in the question is wireless. But that shouldn't discourage any of the potential buyers thinking that the input lag is going to slow them down during the most important moments of their gaming life. This particular model features a Lightspeed technology that offers not just great performance and power efficiency but also the kind of responsiveness and speed that puts most wired keyboards to shame. A 1 ms report rate is going to ensure you aren't going to face defeat due to the ineffectiveness of your peripherals.

When we're talking about a gaming keyboard from Logitech, we know that the mechanical switches in place are going to provide quite and precise performance. But Romer-G does not stop there and also offers incredible durability with up to 70 million click-life and a great feel to them. The switches have a short-throw actuation at 1.5 mm meaning they're 25% faster than your average mechanical switches.

Of course, this mechanical gaming keyboard, just like any other G-series keyboard from the said company, features dedicated G-keys. The six of them are available to be programmed with custom macros and in-app commands. Thanks to the Multi-host technology, the keyboard can be connected to multiple devices at the same time and you are able to switch between them with one click of a button. The peripheral also boasts an incredible battery life with just two AA models being able to carry the weight for up to 18 months. The keyboard is a bit pricey, but it is well worth it if you're looking to amplify your gaming experience to the maximum.

What customers say about this product

Size & Weight

Other wireless keyboards were small and designed either for desk use and I wanted something full size for gaming.

Keys

This keyboard has a slight feel to the key actuation. Not enough to bother you, but just enough to notice the feel of the key actuating.

Features

Flexibility has to do with connectivity, and the ability to customize the keyboard to various uses.

Corsair K63

Wireless is the new Wired

Corsair K63 is a small, compact keyboard that packs one hell of a punch. With its tenkeyless design, the model saves on space and makes transportation easy and effortless.

As you can infer from the image to your left and below you, this is a device that's about performance first and foremost, with no gimmicks attached. Its mechanical Cherry MX Red key switches are the best in the business. Equipped with gold contacts, they give you those fast, precise key presses necessary to outperform your opponents.

Aside from the switches, what makes this model good for gaming is the ultra-fast 1-ms 2.4GHz gaming-optimized wireless technology. It reduces the latency to a minimum, effectively bridging the gap between wireless and wired peripherals.

Though this is definitely a device that was designed with an emphasis on performance, we can't say that it comes up short in the visual department either. On top of the sleek with sharp angles and a dark palette, it gives you the ability to customize the dynamic and vibrant per-key blue backlighting. It is rich enough to improve the model's appearance but also subtle enough to not make it look too gaudy.

To sum it up, Corsair K63 is a stylish keyboard that doesn't bank too much on its appearance and instead gives you accuracy, precision, and speed. It is a cordless peripheral that can hold its own even against its wired counterparts.

What customers say about this product

Size & Weight

I was able to easily find a case for the keyboard and I am happy with the size.

Keys

The key press feel is nice and dependable. A bit louder than I would have liked, but not a dealbreaker. Key caps pop off easily without the need for a key puller (one is not included).

Features

The memory foam bottom makes it feel like you have a simple pillow on your lap

G-Cord GC-MK104

Aluminum over Plastic

G-Cord GC-MK104, for the most part, is your run-of-the-mill wireless keyboard with gaming aspirations. That said, there are a few things that make the model stand out from its otherwise unimpressive peers.

First of all, it incorporates aluminum housing, making the whole thing far more durable than its plastic counterparts. A little heavier too but that's the price you pay for durability.

This is a mechanical keyboard, so you get really low friction and awesome key feel. Most mechanical peripherals are loud but the device in question is surprisingly quiet.

It comes equipped with an anti-ghosting technology, so it won't put a damper on your gaming performance. Click those keys as fast as you want and don't worry, this keyboard will be able to register them all.

Of course, the keys themselves aren't aluminum. But, with a lifespan of 50 million clicks, they're a lot more durable than you'd think.

As for the backlighting, the model gives you 6 immersive lighting effects to play with, including Always Light, Gradual Light, Horizontal Streamer, Light with Press, Vertical Streamer, and, of course, No Light.

The battery lasts for about a week and it takes around 5 hours to recharge, which isn't too shabby at all.

Bottom line, G-Cord GC-MK104 gives you a solid wireless gaming keyboard at an affordable price. You can play with the backlighting. You can take it on the road without worrying about damaging the device. All in all, it does its job and it does it well.

RK RGB

Control the Lighting

There is quite a lot to like about this wireless gaming keyboard from RK, though it does have its flaws too. Mainly, we don't care for the instruction manual. It really isn't that helpful. Not a huge downside considering this is a keyboard and not a Tesla car but it could definitely use some improvement.

The model's RGB backlighting, on the other hand, is good as it is. First off, it gives you 17 different lighting modes to choose from. You can adjust the speed of backlight movement and its brightness. Naturally, you can turn it off and on whenever you want. can be turned off when no need. On top of everything else, the keyboard gives you the ability to customize and stock three groups of lighting patterns as your favorites, which is a nice touch no matter how you look at it.

You can use the keyboard wirelessly via Bluetooth or physically connect it to your PC using a USB cord. Turn on the brightest backlighting setting and the battery will last for up to 100 hours via that Bluetooth connection. Turn the backlighting off altogether and you'll be able to use the keyboard for over a month without recharging the battery.

The anti-ghosting technology will allow you to press all of the model's 87 keys at the same time. The usual Cherry MX mechanical switches do their job of reducing the response time of those keys.

In short, this Bluetooth gaming keyboard from RK is arguably the most versatile model on our list. It is perfectly compatible with Android and iOS. The mechanical keys have a solid lifespan of 50 million clicks. Considering its price, you couldn't ask for more.

Soke-Six Combo

A Budget Combination

Soke-Six with this product easily gives you the most value for your back. For around 30 bucks, you get a combo of a wireless gaming keyboard and a mouse. That's about 15 bucks a piece. So, naturally, you can't expect a whole lot from this deal. That said, you'd be surprised how well these peripherals perform.

For one, the keyboard comes equipped with mechanical key switches, which is unheard of for such a budget device. Sure, they don't have Cherry RX's lifespan but their performance compares to the latter well enough to imitate that pleasant mechanical and fast response time.

The battery lasts for almost a year, which is, again, insane considering how affordable this product is.

On paper, you get that usual plastic housing that, honestly, looks a little cheap. That said, it is durable enough. Plus, with its waterproof properties, you won't have to worry about spilling a can of soda all over it and ruining the circuitry. The anti-skid feet keep the keyboard in place. Those feet are also adjustable, so you can regulate the height of the keyboard. It features 104 keys and 12 multimedia keys.

As for the mouse, there isn't much to say here. Its dpi is a little limited but the ergonomic shape and a couple of side buttons make it comfortable and practical enough.

To sum it all up, Soke-Six offer you a mechanical wireless gaming keyboard and a mouse for around 30 bucks. What's not to like about it? Though the price is cheap, the peripherals are anything but cheap. They won't give you an edge over your opponents but they won't let them outbest you either.

What Is a Wireless Gaming Keyboard?

Back in the days, wireless and gaming were mutually exclusive terms. Even a few years ago, the best and the most expensive wireless peripherals had a noticeable delay. It wouldn't be huge but that one-tenth of a second is often the difference between success and failure in competitive games.

Fortunately, that is hardly the case anymore. In the current year, thanks to the growth and development of wireless technologies, that previously noticeable lag has been shortened to a virtually imperceptible value. So, finally, you're able to combine the convenience of a wireless peripheral with the sort of performance that was previously reserved for wired devices.

That's where these wireless gaming keyboards come in. As you'd imagine, the only thing that makes them different from their wired counterparts is some sort of a wireless module that allows you to use the keyboard without physically connecting it to the computer. Of course, you also need to keep in mind the battery life. Other than that, the parameters and requirements are the same, from the type of keys that the keyboard comes equipped with to the material, backlighting, and overall design.

Like to spend your days in the world of Azeroth or any other MMORPG realm? Consider one of these MMO mice. They go well with a gaming chair given how much time you're often forced to put in these games and how uncomfortable it gets after a while with a subpar chair.
