What customers say about "Key Specs"
Seagate Constellation CS 3TB 7200RPM 64MB Cache 3.5" Hard Drive
  • One of the fastest screws on 7200 RPM and undeservedly unpopular.
  • It works without shutting down for 6967 hours without problems. A sufficient amount of memory that will serve at least as long.
  • Actually, the computer began to work faster. I did not think that such an increase can give HDD.
  • At first, bad blocks began to appear on drive C, and then the controller generally failed - the drive is not detected at boot time.
  • I did not have time to score 500 GB, as he died. Shameful for a disk positioned as 24/7.
Seagate Constellation ES 3 TB 7200RPM SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache 3.5" Internal Hard Drive
  • Great HDD, came newly sealed and smart tells me it hasn't been used.
  • 3 TB is perfect for backups or a simple FreeNAS server.
  • I bought four of these to use in an n-1 redundancy scheme in a Synology NAS. Read/Write times are very good.
  • Write speed is always in excess of 100 MB/sec and sometimes hits 123 MB/sec.
  • I bought two 3TB HDDs, but all of them are already over 42500 hours used junk!

What customers say about "Features"
Seagate Constellation CS 3TB 7200RPM 64MB Cache 3.5" Hard Drive
  • I picked up six of these drives for a RAID 5 array in my NAS, and all works great.
  • Product works as it should. Using in a NAS.
  • For 700 hours no errors, average temperature 37, maximum 42.
  • There were doubts that it was not quiet enough, but they were dispelled when I turned it on - almost inaudible.
  • Good speed. Linear read / write reaches 200 mb / s. Very quiet.
Seagate Constellation ES 3 TB 7200RPM SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache 3.5" Internal Hard Drive
  • We received the drive, installed it, formatted it, and began to copy the data from our old hard drive that had begun making a ticking noise. Good drive.
  • 3Tb is great, easy to install.
  • It was easy enough to set up for my old system to read the full 3 terabytes as an external storage back up drive.
  • Very noisy, sounds loose. Worried it wont last long.
  • I purchased a drive for 2 of my systems, 1 functioned however the other kept failing to maintain a data connection.
