About the Product
It combines the form factor of the DX200 with the amp card system of the DX200 and the Mango software player first seen on the DX80 and later matured on the DX200. Instead of the more expensive high-end dual ES9028PRO DAC chipset, iBasso has worked-in a cheaper dual AK4490EQ implementation to get within budget.
The X7 Mark II is among the first of its kinds in Chinese portable music players to adopt 2GB of RAM, allowing it to seriously multi-task and to provide a more fluid experience. The player also comes with 64GB of internal storage and 2 micro-SD card slots, each supporting up to 256GB expansion cards.

What customers say about "Key Specs"
iBasso DX150 High Performance Digital Audio Player (DAP)
  • Build is solid. It sounds noticeably better than a phone as well.
  • The build quality is great, sound is absolutely fantastic. Just make sure you pair it with a good headphone.
  • The DX150 boasts some great specs and is a very nice audio player.
  • Speaking of the screen, the size of it is perfect.
  • The display is small for such a large player. It’s hard to watch the name of the song.
Fiio X7II 64GB Portable Music Player
  • A very engulfing sound that maintains a clear, wide soundstage. Hits all the right notes sonically.
  • Highs and mids are sublime, and the bass is clean, deep, and punchy.
  • I only have 10 gigs of music, so thankfully all my music can fit in the internal storage.
  • I was originally attracted to this because of the large storage size as I have well over 1T of files I would like mobile.
  • FiiO X7 Mark II is a fantastic DAP! Very easy to operate with just the right controls, great build quality and plenty of storage for your music on the go.

What customers say about "Size & Weight"
iBasso DX150 High Performance Digital Audio Player (DAP)
  • Great size for traveling. You can easily put it in your pocket.
  • Very compact player with excellent control buttons.
  • Weight and size are great for a morning run or the like.
  • It is larger than a phone, by a lot, I would say with included case about 4x the thickness of a Google Pixel.
  • Maybe some day they'll get the internal parts a bit smaller so that the overall device isn't so cumbersome.
Fiio X7II 64GB Portable Music Player
  • I absolutely love this DAP, it is compact, light weight, well built, sounds great and is very reasonably priced.
  • Small and light. Very good for a portable device in this price range.
  • It looks great and I really like the small size. That feels sturdy and has a nice display screen.
  • Design wise, this is great, small and curvy. Sound is very good, not a powerhouse but hi-res files sound great.
  • The size is beneficial as it easily slides in a pocket or an armband for working out.

What customers say about "Features"
iBasso DX150 High Performance Digital Audio Player (DAP)
  • The software is very stable if not upgrade to Android 8.
  • The nice thing is though that all of the controls (volume, play, pause, etc) are on one side so while it is big, it's not uncomfortable to use one handed.
  • The amp modules can be swapped out and I love the fact that the amp doesn't take up screen space like it does on the Fiio devices.
  • The UI is pretty good here. Nice big panels that I can comfortably press rather than gently poke with the tip of my finger.
  • Also the Google Play Store app will not function on it.
Fiio X7II 64GB Portable Music Player
  • I like the sound. The unit was quick and easy to setup with beautiful SQ.
  • Like other users said, the balanced output is definitely better than the regular 3.5mm output on my se846.
  • Music files played with no issues. Also bought some hd tracks and no issues playing.
  • Everything worked fine, the user interface is fine, no crash, 2.5mm/3.5mm output no problem, usb dac no problem, bluetooth once paired no problem.
  • One of my concerns so far is that the device generates more heat when operating than it should.

What customers say about "Power"
iBasso DX150 High Performance Digital Audio Player (DAP)
  • The battery life for me has been really good. Sometimes this thing doesn't turn off even though I've pressed off and then confirmed that I do in fact want to turn it off.
  • Charging is quick and the player holds a charge throughout the day.
  • The manufacturer does not lie about the battery life. This is enough for more than 10 hours.
  • The sound quality is good, but the battery life is not that good.
  • The device discharges quickly, which makes me very angry because I cannot enjoy it for a long time.
Fiio X7II 64GB Portable Music Player
  • Battery life as advertised which is not great but it's the same as others.
  • As far as battery life, if you exclusively listen without WiFi , you get about 8 hours.
  • Battery life is very good for such a tiny unit, I'm getting about 8 hours and that includes streaming and lots of flac and dsd.
  • After 5 and half hours of continuous play the battery just died.
  • I found out that the battery when fully charged lasts only 5 hours and half.
