Build Quality is crazy good. Surgical quality stainless steel case that has been brushed so smooth you want to touch it to your cheek.
This player has a beautiful, large detailed sound. The soundstage is very wide, large and tall. The sound is definitely more dynamic and larger than the R6.
This player is fast. Industry leading fast. Processor speed is excellent with the two Snapdragon chips.
I am very happy with the screen quality of the unit. Very sharp and vibrant- great blacks and strong whites.
Thanks to 3gb of RAM, the unit is very responsive. I really liked my Fiio X7, but it was just way too slow. No such issue here.

The unit is very solid and heavy, and oozes quality. Curved edged Gorilla Glass screen with tight, beveled edges.
The product is very well made. The weight proves this to you when you hold it in your hand, at 285g, so this will definitely drop hard, but I doubt dropping this would damage it.
Too heavy to use a windshield mounted holder, as I think the suction cups will give out while driving.
It is pretty heavy for a device of it's size but that's probably because the frame is made of stainless steel.
It's heavy, heavier than you expect base on its size.

I love how it’s portable and I can take it on runs and to the gym.
It is compact, light weight, well built, sounds great and is very reasonably priced.
The size is beneficial as it easily slides in a pocket or an armband for working out.
It looks great and I really like the small size. Excellent sound and well build.
Design wise, this is great, small and curvy that feels sturdy and has a nice display screen.

It is a better than R6. The WiFi strength is better, the screen is more responsive, the onscreen keyboard calibration is better, and the overall tonality of the DAP is more to my liking.
The 4.4mm balanced output Jack is robust and I am really enjoying the channel separation, detail, soundstage, and power the unit has to offer.
Whether it is the dual band wifi, or the Bluetooth 4.2 with Apt-x and LDAC- this player has strong, fast connectivity.
The only little minus the unit got a little warm to the touch when using the balance port.
Bluetooth range is very short. I can't get more than 10 feet without losing the signal.

The look and feel of that is fine for me. But the most important things are the sound quality and everyday usability.
It works with Mac!!! You just have to download the android file transfer driver. There are clear instructions in the SR15 manual. IT WORKS WITH BOTH PC AND MAC!
Usability is excellent; creating playlists is painless. I did not care about this at first, but I now enjoy the option to stream high-quality music from online sources like Qobuz.
Bluetooth just does not work at all and will not pair to my headphones or any devices.
The WiFi is awful! Why would they make a $700 product with such horrible hardware?

Battery life is ok at best, lasting a few hours till you're at about 20% battery life.
The DAP has extremely good battery life. But in my case it would eat it in standby over the course of the entire day until I was told about a fix.
Battery life is more than adequate for my listening. I can get about a day and a half without WIFI or Bluetooth turned on.
Listening to Tidal or other streaming software seems to have a battery life of about one day.
I don't think the battery life is quite what is touted, close but not quite there.

Battery life is short and the fact that the device can get really hot while operating.
As far as battery life, if you exclusively listen without WiFi , you get about 12 hours.
Battery life is very good for such a tiny unit, I'm getting about 11 hours and that includes streaming and lots of flac and dsd.
Battery Life is only lasting me about 6-7 hours ( I wanted to use this at work and have it last all day but It doesnt).
Not sure how people can keep the battery last long, mine is keep playing or running something that drained fast.
