This device feels like an improvement. It's small and solid, has a decent display and UI, and the sound quality is excellent.
The cool thing is it has no internal storage. Get tired of the music on it currently? Pop in a new card. Want to shuffle across the entire card? It can do that too.
I'm so glad I bought this MP3 player. The sound quality is great and it's very easy to use.
I don't really have any complaints at all about the quality of this player. It handles just about anything you can throw at it.
No internal storage. MicroSD only. This seems to be consistent with most players around this price range, but I would prefer both.

The sound is great and the display is amazing compared to the shanling m0.
I connected to my speakers (Sonos & Sony) also to my car and the sound quality is fantastic!
I really like this MP3 player, it’s really easy to use and has very good sound quality.
The HIDIZS AP80 is beyond amazing. With a good pair of ear plugs the sound is great! There is a learning curve (for me anyway) but the end result is well worth it.
Touch screen is horrible and often would not work at all.

It is smaller than I expected however the player is really cool and has blue tooth so that's good.
The first thing that struck me about the HIDIZS player is how small it is... I mean really, really small!
If you're interested in using it at the gym or on the go, it's very light and compact.
I like it... it's small compact, powerful to drive my headphones.... it fills those low quality mp3's up and it got a micro SD slot.
With the compact size comes smaller harder to press buttons, also buttons double press easily zooming me through my albums too quickly.

I received my MP3 player two days ago and I am in love with it! I like the size, the color and the music sounds amazing.
The sound quality is excellent. It is small enough to fit in your shirt pocket.
I love the form factor and ease of use. The sound coming over my headphones is incredible for a little HD package.
Compact, light, and well-made. Lovely sound. Good price.
Unit is small, well built, with very responsive touchscreen (yes, could be too small to operate for person with big hands) and surprisingly good battery life, considering the size.

The touch screen works really well, quick and accruate reaction.
The outer case is aluminum, the DAC chip is a Sabre, the touch screen is responsive, the silicone case is a good throw in.
It’s very easy to add music. Just hook the DAP to your computer and copy to the device it self, click the update songs, and boom it finds the music.
Sound quality - another step up from the M1. The newer chip brings out more details and creates an even larger sound stage than the M1.
The device stops playing music randomly when on bluetooth. It reboots several times even when in use.

I find its minimalist footprint perfect for the gym and with a great battery life, easy portability, outstanding sound, this is a definite buy for a mid range player.
Battery life is just adequate, I wouldn't call it LONG lasting, but enough for me.
Battery life is well above average, track refresh time is typical, the control buttons work fine with distinct tactile feedback, and it has no problem connecting to a PC as a storage device.
The battery life sucks. Well not while actually using it but while NOT using it,the battery still depletes alot even when not in use.
On long drives I to rock mining camps I could charge it once and play it daily for 3-4 hours for 3 days before recharging; this one only makes it 2 days.

Long battery life, it could last about 10hours with a full charge battery.
The battery last long, in conclusion I am very happy with this device.
Very good sound quality, compact, and superb battery life.
Battery does not charge after one month. I never let the battery drop below 10 percent.
Poor battery life, I feel the stated battery life is a lie.
