Kann is beefy, solid and it looks and feels well put together with an aluminum body and a large enough "retina like" display.
With a large SD card, the music capacity is sufficient for a variety of my favorite albums. Even the internal storage is a pretty good start with just CD quality material.
The Kahn is great for the amount of storage that's available for a portable device! That's a Huge plus.
Fantastic detail retreival, soundstage and analogue sound. Massive storage.
The limited on board storage and carrying around multiple micro sd cards along with the clunky gui worked against it.

This unit, the SR15, has that signature Astell & Kern sound. Clear highs, mids and lows.
I use it with my bang & olufsen and the sound quality is outstanding.
The music coming out of this little machine is full and balanced, bass, middle and treble coming strong.
I appreciate how clear it sounds, the music is very detailed and precise.
I recommended this product, good quality and sound. This is perfect for carry anywhere.

Don't let it's size fool you. It fits in the pocket quite well (well just about. I wear slim/snug fit trousers).
The looks are classy with tactile design and reassuring weight that just emphasises it's quality.
This device is nice and small but a decent wait. Feels very well made. Very pocketable.
.If you are looking for a small excellent sounding portable music player then look no further.
I did not think the weight and size would bother me. I was wrong.

I love how it’s portable and I can take it on runs and to the gym.
It is compact, light weight, well built, sounds great and is very reasonably priced.
The size is beneficial as it easily slides in a pocket or an armband for working out.
It looks great and I really like the small size. Excellent sound and well build.
Design wise, this is great, small and curvy that feels sturdy and has a nice display screen.

The playback is absolutely not gapless. There's usually a second gap in between songs.
Brilliant player. Great sounding. Takes a full sd card and a mini sd card giving plenty of storage.
In terms of the file formats it will play just about anything you can throw at it.
The user interface is just terrible. It doesn't display the entire track name.
The minimum brightness is still very bright, and no blue light filter option.

The look and feel of that is fine for me. But the most important things are the sound quality and everyday usability.
It works with Mac!!! You just have to download the android file transfer driver. There are clear instructions in the SR15 manual. IT WORKS WITH BOTH PC AND MAC!
Usability is excellent; creating playlists is painless. I did not care about this at first, but I now enjoy the option to stream high-quality music from online sources like Qobuz.
Bluetooth just does not work at all and will not pair to my headphones or any devices.
The WiFi is awful! Why would they make a $700 product with such horrible hardware?

Battery life? I tried it all day at work and in the gym and it didn't require a recharge.
Having the extra battery is a god send with 15 hours, I never really have to worry about running out of power.
Battery life is around 6/7 hrs but my experience is that the unit charges quickly and I never listen for more than a couple of hours a day so no issue really.
Battery life extremely poor, I barely get 4 hours with bluetooth and 5 with cable.
BATTERY LIFE. Yes, it's pretty poor - 4/5 hours, as most reviewers and users have found, unless you switch off nearly everything!

Battery life is short and the fact that the device can get really hot while operating.
As far as battery life, if you exclusively listen without WiFi , you get about 12 hours.
Battery life is very good for such a tiny unit, I'm getting about 11 hours and that includes streaming and lots of flac and dsd.
Battery Life is only lasting me about 6-7 hours ( I wanted to use this at work and have it last all day but It doesnt).
Not sure how people can keep the battery last long, mine is keep playing or running something that drained fast.
