Really only takes one pass as advertised. Suction is great.
The filters are easy to clean and change, but don't need it often - though probably more often than I get around to doing so.
The filters are fairly easy to get to for maintenance.

Replacement foam filter AND Hepa filter--sold separately--for less than $10! ( I purchased these replacement parts when I ordered this Bissell so I can when I wash the small foam filter and put on the new one so I don't have to wait for the filter to dry).
Powerful suction! Sucked up more dirt and dust than any other vacuum I've ever had.
Even on the lowest setting, when I vacuum my tile kitchen/dining room, I can feel particles (kitty litter) flying out from behind the vacuum and hitting my shins. One pass works on carpet but not on tile.
After a couple months of use, it's LOUD as HECK. Like a small airplane taking off.

Lightweight and not difficult to maneuver.
It goes easily from one type of carpet to the next, including Berber, indoor/outdoor and a cheap area rug.
It's not as heavy as some reviewers mention. Even on the lowest floor height setting, I had no problems using this (and I have back problems and low strength).
The vacuum doesn't have an auto balance system, so it does feel heavy.

Light weight and easy to use.
The vacuum has a decent weight not too heavy but I have had lighter ones.
This bissel was easy to put together, light weight and it glides beautifully.
The suction is great and it is pretty light weight.
Heavier than I thought it would be. I'm a guy and I can see how a petite or older person would have trouble lugging it up stairs.

Turbo brush attachment is awesome! Perfect for furniture.
Clear canister so you know when to empty it. Large canister for holding a lot of debris.
The small brush attachment does a good job on upholstered furniture. It doesn't quite get all of the hair off of a cheap black office chair, but it gets really close.
The dirt tank is easy to empty. The easy to open design makes it simple to empty and actually get the contents into the trash can and not all over the floor.
Hose attachment does not stretch very far. Even if you add attachments to make the hose as long as possible, you will still end up pulling on the vacuum itself to get into corners. Can be irritating.
Cannot turn off brush roll, so not ideal for bare floors in general.
The hose for the attachments is a little bit too short. It can sometimes be difficult to reach the back of the couch, or the third step up.

Has many parts to it to attach and vacuum different areas of my apartment easily.
The small turbobrush works great on upholstery to pick up cat hair.
Removing, emptying, and replacing the canister is really easy.
ClearView casing located on the bottom so you can see the main rotating brush that vacuums the carpets and bare floors.
Whoever designed the backside of this sweeper was an idiot. The attachments, cord, and hose get in the way of each other.
The accessory hose is a joke. It extends to about 3 feet and that's it. It's supposed to extend further but it's too stiff to do so.

Awesome suction power, often only need to swipe once.
The thing still has great suction power, even though it has worn a bit. I forsee at least are few years of use out of it.
The cord is long enough that I don't' have to unplug when moving around my small apartment.
The machine is reasonable light for a full upright.
The cord is a little too short, especially in an older house where the outlets are scarce and sometimes to get at.
I wish the cord was retractable.

Long cord to help vacuum the whole room instead of having to stop and unplug and then replug and then begin vacuuming again.
Suction/power is decent.
Extra long cord so you can vacuum larger rooms without having to unplug it.
Yes, the power switch should have been placed at the top of the unit but this is a minor design issue unless you're a full-time vacuumer.
