What customers say about "Key Specs"
Onkyo TX-NR676 7.2 Channel Network A/V Receiver
  • My center and rear channels are Onkyo and with the calibration, you can balance the channel volume to your preference.
  • The sound is great, the bass channels are very deep, even compared to my old one.
  • The sound quality seems very good, with only a little distortion in the upper register (This is only noticeable under intense listening conditions).
  • I cranked the volume up slowly while listening to the sound quality. When I got to 50-75% volume the sound was starting to distort already.
  • My wife on the second floor of my home heard how bad the speakers were distorting. She stated they sounded horrible and the cheaper Sony sounded a heck of a lot better.
Onkyo TX-NR777 THX-Certified 7.2 Channel Network A/V Receiver
  • Setup was easy, and I can drive the speakers to uncomfortable levels without noticeable distortion.
  • Amazing sound. More than enough power to blast everyone out of the room! Sounds clean and clear.
  • This model is noticeably more powerful that i think and the sound is more full.
  • Great great receiver! Had it for a couple months and the sound is amazing with my 7 speakers. Sound comes from all over the room.
  • It does the job but doesn't sound as good as the unit that its replacing, a Panosonic Home theater that they no longer make.

What customers say about "Connectivity"
Onkyo TX-NR676 7.2 Channel Network A/V Receiver
  • Easy to setup! Easy to connect for Bluetooth as well.
  • This product have 8 hdmi outputs and I was able to connect all equipments.
  • Surprisingly simple connection. and very powerful. Also very simple setup and easy to use remote.
  • I also appreciate the Wi-Fi connection and the automatic firmware downloads.
  • My favorite part is the Wi-Fi capability to just connect and stream music to the home theater or the second zone which I wired outside for backyard ambient music/sounds.
  • Only downside I've found is the muting of speakers when headphones are connected.
Onkyo TX-NR777 THX-Certified 7.2 Channel Network A/V Receiver
  • My main point of connectivity is Bluetooth streaming through phones. Works well!
  • It pairs with my phone over Bluetooth to play music and has enough input connections for fire TV, gaming system, antenna and DVD player with plenty of spare inputs. I'm very impressed.
  • I like the Onkyo Apps, Bluetooth, and most important the WiFi Music Streaming from multiple sources.
  • The only drawback I've found so far is that when connected to a source via bluetooth, it seems to drop fairly frequently, often within minutes of connecting.
  • It's not a matter of distance or interfering objects, as I've tried with the unit sitting on the floor and the source sitting literally on top of it, and it still drops the bluetooth link.
