What customers say about "Key Specs"
Denon AVR-1912 7.1 Channel Network Streaming A/V Home Theater Receiver
  • Wow! Clearer and louder dialog when watching movies and I don't have to continually adjust the volume button like the Onkyo.
  • Runs warm but not hot like the Onkyo which means there's less fear of a fire when others in the household forget to turn it off.
  • It can get really loud without distortion and drives some pretty beefy speakers in my home. It has great sound for music, just simple & great all around.
  • It would be nice to have a video pass through, so you could watch TV without connecting tons of redundant inputs to the TV and switching TV Inputs all the time.
  • The distortions sometimes looked like a stock chart jaggard, moving up and down.
Denon AVR-1913 7.1 Channel 3D Pass Through and Networking Home Theater AV Receiver
  • As a standard receiver, it works well and the setup via Audyssey is very easy.
  • I'm hopeful that this is my last receiver. I finally have great surround sound and once you get it set up, it's easy to use.
  • The Denon AVR-1913 is a great 7.1 channel receiver that serves as the anchor for your surround sound/home theater system.
  • This receiver sounded great but was very buggy and had issues processing video for my U-Verse Cable box and Roku device.
  • It worked great for a few weeks, after that things started to fail until it would restart itself repeatedly.

What customers say about "Features"
Denon AVR-1912 7.1 Channel Network Streaming A/V Home Theater Receiver
  • Bass rattles things hanging on my wall that my old Onkyo could not and this is not just because of loudness but how good the crossover is to the subwoofer to deliver the lows.
  • On-screen menus and volume control make it easier to use. I can control my iPod with the Denon remote.
  • I can control it remotely by opening Internet Explorer and entering its IP address. So, I can use my Android Tablet at the pool and control my receiver!
  • Pandora free music via internet is awesome! I can control it from any computer in the house!
  • Although I can control the receiver by entering its IP address into my web browser, the receiver's response to my input is slow
Denon AVR-1913 7.1 Channel 3D Pass Through and Networking Home Theater AV Receiver
  • The 1913 presented me with an opportunity to control both rooms independently, with one receiver -- or so I thought.
  • I can also control everything from my Iphone or Ipad. I feel like I just traveled into the future and came back with ultra convenient, awesome technology.
  • I downloaded the Apple iPhone App for Denon and it does a fantastic job controlling the AVR1913.
  • The airplay and networking abilities of this receiver have been much better than I expected, plus I wasn't aware beforehand of the apps available for phone/tablet control.
  • Only downside so far is device control doesn't work for my bluray through the app, but overall very pleased.

What customers say about "Connectivity"
Denon AVR-1912 7.1 Channel Network Streaming A/V Home Theater Receiver
  • The internet radio is awesome, and sounds great, while a bit buggy even with a great network connection.
  • All of my components, and TV, are connected via HDMI and I have not experienced any compatibility issues.
  • No Bluetooth input so I can't stream music from my smartphone.
  • Networking is wired only. However, this was easily solved by buying the wireless adapter which enabled the Denon to wireless connect to my wifi network.
  • Network interface is still buggy, even with a solid and tested wired network connection it often looses the signal, skips channels, and gets twitchy with Pandora.
Denon AVR-1913 7.1 Channel 3D Pass Through and Networking Home Theater AV Receiver
  • Very easy to setup and use. The remote and HDMI together allow us to control TV and PS3 simply. Ver nice sound through our Klipsch speaker set.
  • It's nice to be able to hook up your iPhone to the front USB port to play music.
  • Front Panel HDMI Input Provides an easy connection for quick hookup and playback of your HDMI-equipped portable devices.
  • This does work, but it requires manually changing up the source settings on my TV and receiver, which is what I was trying to eliminate with the auto HDMI switching capabilities.
  • A serious problem that the denon 1913 has is network connectivity. In my home this is the only piece of equipment that looses connectivity for no apparent reason.
