The audio quality is on par with the iPod - I am using MP3s and my Bose QC20 noise cancelling headphones.
The sound quality is good and with the right headphones, it can get pretty loud.
The sound quality is fantastic along with the compact size of the device.
Sound quality is excellent with reach bass. Plays all usual formats, including FLAC, clear display etc.
User unfriendly, too tiny, cheap quality. I returned it the same day just to end my headache.

The player is great and and the imaging is nice when listening to music.
The M3K has great build quality and design, a surprisingly good screen, good sound quality.
The sound from the AK4376A DAC being utilized is outstanding and punches well above its weight.
You cannot use the internal memory so don't forget the micro SD card.
Currently, sometimes album art is not displayed and the player won't acknowledge a few songs.

The Fiio M3 fills the size requirement nicely, and it has expandable memory.
The sound quality is great and the few hours I have used it's a solid little player.
The size is fantastic - slips into my shirt pocket. The construction is sound and the screen covers that come with it are a nice added bonus.
Holy damn this thing is tiny, not exactly iPod Shuffle tiny, but tiny nonetheless.
It's not as small as similar models, which for me is a plus. Sturdy build quality.

The M3K is a great device: simple UI, compact size, good audio, and long battery life.
I like the small size and ease of use. I use it in my garage connected to a stereo and in the yard with earphones.
Nice build materials, pretty good ui, physical side buttons, nice compact size.
I like this product because it is compact and simple to use, I use it every day to listen to different types of music and the quality of sound is great.
Too small therefore a great fidelity to lose it.

The touch pad is solid and responsive. Screen resolution is acceptable.
I think the closest "high end" competitor ,in terms of the design, to the M3 would be the iPod Nano.
The M3 does come with 2 extra screen protectors (one already installed) which I quite like.
The menu is simple and easy to use. I love the PC interface which is just drag and drop. No installation needed.
The build quality is acceptable, but not great. The corners and possibly the edges should have been rounded.

Sound quality is great, I don't believe in the HiFi sound thing so I didn't try to compare FLAC 16 bits and 24 bits. But it sounds great in player mode as well as in external DAC mode.
Interface is relatively straightforward with no lag. Nice size, colorful screen.
The case has a rubberized polymer cover that is grip-friendly.
Touch buttons can be annoying sometimes but you can also use physical buttons to navigate the interface.
The power connection and SD card slot are vulnerable to water intrusion, so keep it dry.

The expanded storage options are awsome. It maintains a charge for several days of eight hour listening time.
I haven't run the battery completely down from a full charge but I believe that one could go three days, eight hours a day of use without recharging the unit.
The battery life is superb. Made it from NY via LAX to SYD with no recharge!
This is a great unit and battery life is outstanding. It is much better than my previous apple product, because it isn't finicky about which files it plays.
I love the player it's self but the battery swelling after a little over a year is just bad bad bad especially if there's no easy way to find a replacement. It barely holds a charge now.

The battery life is good for a player of this quality. It can push my Sennheisers well without going dry.
The interface is good, the sound quality is great, it can do folders or tags organization, the screen shows a lot, and album art looks good, battery life is good, file transfers go well.
It really does have quite the battery life, it could last awhile before really needing a charge.
Great sound quality and battery life, and charges via micro usb.
After a month, I stopped holding the charge and had to charge 2 times more often.
