What customers say about "Key Specs"
Logitech Saitek X52 Flight Control System
  • Smooth throttle and joystick. Plenty of buttons to map out.
  • This joystick and throttle are awesome, I ended up getting them to play elite dangerous and everything worked great for the first few days.
  • Very smooth control , hands friendly , easy access to button controls
  • The quality and feel are amazing. It works great and I would highly recommend it to friend's. It genuinely is a high precision setup.
  • The mode dial and clutch button do nothing if you dont have remapped configurations programmed. They can not be used as control buttons or mapped in game either.
Logitech Saitek X52 PRO Flight Control System
  • Smooth, and precise control, feels like you got your money's worth.
  • Lots, and lots of customization with the software. Lots of buttons and hats to keep me keyboard-free in Elite.
  • This feels like a real piece of equipment and not a toy. I am very impressed with the design and quality of the materials used.
  • The buttons / clock on the throttle don't really seem to work.
  • There is a catch at minimum and maximum thrust axis. It might be annoying to some, such as when flying a helicopter.

What customers say about "Size & Weight"
Logitech Saitek X52 Flight Control System
  • The build quality feels really solid and the controls are responsive.
  • As far as build quality, though, the stick is solid and I have not had any problems yet with the stick becoming loose, which I had with the last couple of sticks I played with.
  • The throttle has some real weight and resistance to it, and the stick is buttery smooth with no drift.
  • Amazing size and weight. Highly recommend.
  • It's very tiny size its far to small and stiff to use as a analog axis.
Logitech Saitek X52 PRO Flight Control System
  • Joystick and throttle size are quite large which is a pro for me because I have larger than average hands - this may be a con for some users.
  • Good build quality, neat size, buttons feel firm, overall in looks great and feels like a good quality joy.
  • Smooth joystick. I'm impressed with the size and feel of the throttle. Highly recommend this product!
  • It had a decent weight and I find it actually works better without the suction cups attached to the bottom.
  • The weight of both the throttle and joystick is extremely low. Be prepared to affix both of them to your desk/chair/cockpit with velcro, screws, glue, etc. if you want them not to move around.

What customers say about "Features"
Logitech Saitek X52 Flight Control System
  • It has a light bounce back and the entire movement feels smooth with no serious resistance. I feel it contributes to accuracy.
  • Can be mounted to a custom rig.
  • I used this for FSX Steam edition and Elite Dangerous. I love the look and feel. the programmable buttons are great as well.
  • I like the X52 better because there are more programmable buttons on Throttle base. So if you have the X52 keep it and enjoy it.
  • The USB input cord comes from the throttle, and it is not very long, so I had to put it on a wired hub to reach my computer.
Logitech Saitek X52 PRO Flight Control System
  • Main triggers have hardware mechanical switching, while other buttons have similar quality switching mechanisms. All of which, seem to be superior to previous models of this joystick!
  • This hotas is great for the ease of programming alone. Ergonomically it's not 100% compatible with my hands, but I've got small hands.
  • This HOTAS system is amazing. I love the feel and responsiveness. The springs inn the stick give you enough feedback that you know you're moving it.
  • The software is honestly pretty confusing and needs some real work.
  • The LCD screen on the throttle is cool, but not very usable. At least I have not found much of a use for it other than to display the time.
