PROS

The available sizes include XS and XXS, meaning that there are models that will fit women and teenagers as well as men. The silicone-printed neoprene palm will reduce the ripping and tearing chances and provide protection against dangerous chemicals.

CONS

The gloves have a strong glue-like smell.

OUR VERDICT

Generally speaking, the issue with sports gloves is that, wearing them, the hands are sweating even more than they do without gloves. Introducing a backless design, Fit Active Sports Ventilated Weight Lifting Gloves solve that issue, keeping the hands ventilated and sweat-free.

Not enough padding on the palm area.

OUR VERDICT

Ihuan Workout Gloves will accommodate most gym enthusiasts but especially those who are training with considerable free weights and preferring bench presses, deadlifts, and weighted pull-ups to machine alternatives, keeping the hand protected and the grip strong.

OUR VERDICT

Simari Workout Gloves are pretty bulky but it is the ample padding that's contributing to the bulk before anything else. Thanks to the padding, the gloves are able to buffer the impact that free weights bring about and reduce hand fatigue.

Fit Active Sports Ventilated

Keeping the Back Open

Not unlike most gym gloves, Fit Active Sports Ventilated Weight Lifting Gloves are offering full palm protection, preventing torn hands and calluses and protecting the thumb too. The difference between them is the open-hand, backless design that provides more ventilation than standard models covering the back. Apart from that, what's also differentiating this product from its pack is the size range, offering every size between XXS and XL, meaning that you can purchase these gloves for kids too.

The people behind the gloves are claiming that they're made from premium materials, including the neoprene base and the silicone-printed neoprene palm, guaranteeing less ripping and tearing and protecting the hand and the gloves from dangerous chemicals, oils, sweat, and aging. Still, considering the "premium" claim, the gloves have this glue-like smell to them initially, so the materials might be premium but the stitching/construction is not quite.

Last, following the common playbook deployed across sports gloves, these have adopted adjustable wrist straps, contributing to added wrist support and letting you customize the fit.

Long story short, Fit Active Sports Ventilated Weight Lifting Gloves will minimize sweat, reduce injury chances, and make sure you're not suffering from rough, sore, ripped hands training to the absolute limit.

Wrist Support Too

Ihuan Workout Gloves protect the entire hand. The gloves even include wrist support, protecting the arms from sprains. Adding considerable padding, the gloves are buffering the impact that the hands receive from free weights and different machines, so you can train hard without worrying about calluses. That being said, the padding on the fingers is more prominent than the padding on the palm, not the biggest issue since the fingers are usually the ones doing the heavy lifting but still something that can be improved upon.

We do not want to see any improvements to the breathable mesh design though, wicking away moisture and ensuring sufficient ventilation to minimize sweating. The pull-off holders are not really different from most gym gloves', enabling you to easily remove the gloves without pulling.

The available colors are pretty limited, offering only black and pink options. The sizes are not though, including S, M, L, and XL, covering most customers except small women and teenagers.

Bottom line, Ihuan Workout Gloves will allow you to achieve the best fitness results, protecting the hand without weakening the grip. Also, including lightweight microfiber, the gloves will go the distance without tearing and ripping apart.

KANSOON Glofit FREEDOM

Earning Style Points

Right off the bat, Glofit Freedom Workout Gloves look great, adding style points to the gym outfit, something that most gym rats will appreciate, even though few will admit that it is something they're worried about. There's something sleek about these gloves, from the hollow-out back design to the high-density mesh construction, providing excellent breathability without restricting the motion range.

Adding to the standard cushioned pad, the gloves are also adopting anti-slip points made from silica, increasing friction and ensuring stability through extensive movement. Meanwhile, featuring both foam padding and microfiber, the gloves are able to prevent training abrasion. There's even this nice little thumb jersey, also referred to as a towel cloth (even though that is stretching the definition), that you can use to wipe away sweat.

Are the gloves perfect? No such thing, especially not within this price range. Still, the only fly in the product's ointment that's worth pointing out is that the wrist fasteners do not last. Besides that, Glofit Freedom Workout Gloves deserve very little criticism and considerable praise. Also, because the gloves are featuring only two pull-off holders each, you can remove them without the holders getting in the way while you're working out.

SIMARI Workout Gloves

Buffering the Impact

Simari Workout Gloves look bulky, but this is the case primarily because the padding here is quite ample. Aside from the thick padding buffering the weights' impact, these gloves are also employing lightweight microfiber, reducing the weight yet making sure that the gloves are not easily destroyed. The construction includes lycra too, which is great from one viewpoint because that means that the friction and the grip are increased but, at the same time, the parts on the palm give out pretty soon.

The adjustable wrist wraps will not give out anytime soon though, offering wrist support so that you're less likely to strain the arms next time you're trying to beat your PR doing deadlifts. Besides that, the hollow-out back hand design warrants bonus points too, ensuring sufficient ventilation and preventing the gloves from feeling stuffy and sticking to the hand.

The people behind the product did not forget to add pull-off holders too, except that they are pretty small here and do not include holes in the middle, so pulling them with sweaty fingers can be challenging. The upside is that you can wipe off the sweat using the towel cloth on the thumb, solving the only issue that holds the gloves back from competing with the best workout gloves out there.

YHT Workout Gloves

The Full-Fingered Approach

YHT Workout Gloves are full-fingered, putting them both ahead and behind the fingerless competition. Because they're full-fingered, you'll be producing more sweat since there's less ventilation going on. But, also because the gloves are full-fingered, you will not be suffering from chafing around the part where most workout gloves are cutting out and meeting exposed skin, so training with certain machines and dumbbells will become more comfortable. These benefits and disadvantages are, to some extent, subjective but the limited size range is not quite as subjective. As the gloves are only sold in M, X, and XL sizes, even men with relatively small hands are left out, let alone women and teenagers.

The bright side is that, made from lycra, these men's gloves are stretchable, conforming to the hand's shape and fitting like, well, gloves. They're lightweight and soft, so you will not be feeling like you're dragging extra weight when that's not the goal. Last but not least, the gloves feature 15-millimetre (0.6 inches) foam padding, cutting down the vibrations and reducing hand fatigue.

When all is said and done though, the choice boils down to preference anyway, satisfying customers who like full-fingered workout gloves and not quite piquing the interest of those who don't.

What Are Weight Lifting Gloves?

Lifting weights has more health benefits that gym skeptics realize, from staving off numerous diseases to increasing the bones' strength to regulating insulin production to even improving balance, sleep, and mood, aside from the obvious aesthetics-based, bodybuilding rewards. Even the most experienced gym junkies can slip and fall sometimes though, let alone newbies that are not on a first-name basis with most machines and free weights yet.

To prevent that, besides exercising caution, we can recommend wearing weight lifting gloves. These gloves will stabilize and strengthen the grip, making sure that you're not dropping the weights. Plus, you will not be forced to use gym chalk (magnesium carbonate) before lifting slippery barbells, dumbbells, and kettlebells. You'd think that you would be sweating bullets wearing workout gloves but, normally, they incorporate multiple features to prevent that, from strategic cutouts to mesh inserts to using breathable materials.

When you're done choosing the right gloves, you can also look into these water bottles as they will improve the entire gym experience as much as these gloves, except from a different angle.
