This speaker has both good bass and treble power. You can't go wrong with this product. It has 150 watts peak.
These are very nice, well made speakers. I use these around a covered dock/bar area and these push out clear powerful sound.
Small though they are, they deliver really good outdoor sound.
They are wonderful! We have a fairly small deck and he mounted them on the house, just above the family room windows, so they are about 11' off the ground.
You cannot get better sound in this size speaker, the bass is absolutely awesome.

The system sounds great around the pool and has plenty of power to irritate the neighbors.
These are really great speakers. I use them in my work van. I have them on a 200 watt amp with a powered subwoofer. they sound great
They sound fantastic, even when compared with my Lifestyle 48 system. The power it very nicely. Makes my pool so enjoyable.
When pushing the Pioneer ICE amp to its peak, the power out of these units was more like a professional setup that a neighbor getting his rock on.
You need to drive the AMP hard to obtain good output sound level SPL. The speaker lacks crisp highs - and lacks acceptable bass (you need a sub)

These are just the right size and have a very good sound.
The speakers are as described in size and weight. Surface seems to be paintable as stated in Product description.
They look very compact on the wall of my house. Very happy with the purchase.
They are heavy so they must be well installed so that they do not fall. Because once they pulled out the mount and fell.
Large size for outdoor speakers. They take up a lot of space.

With good amplification these speakers really do fill a large area with quality sound. The bass is surprising for the size of the driver and being outside.
They are easy to install and they produce really full sound for their size.
The sound is full and rich, much better than out previous speakers. We are very happy with them.
I turn the bass down a little, since the bass response is so good, but that's why an amp has tone controls. Great quality!
Bass response is excellent, mid and high ranges are sharp and clear even when I crank up my Yamaha reciever.

Bose 251 Environmental Outdoor Speakers

The design of the Bose 251 addresses that issue by including two 2.5" "twiddlers" (a Bose trademark) in each speaker. These are larger than typical 1" to 1.25" tweeters, and cover a broader frequency range.
The result of the design of the Bose 251 is that the mid and higher frequency sound is dispersed over a much wider area than in a conventional speaker design.
Overall, a great, well rounded pair of outdoor speakers. Frequency response tested as ~40Hz-15kHz. I do find that the Twiddler design does make for great mid-ranges and reasonable bass
Has anyone noticed how hard it is to find the specifications on the speakers, frequency response and power handling - just an observation.
Very clear sound, very neat, but no bass, not deep. Need a Subwoofer.
