- A nice easy to use dial timer on the front with a loud bell to advise that the time is up.
- The timer is a bit old fashioned but it works well and so I have no complaints.
- The mechanical timer is cute and works well if you remember to wind it at least halfway and then back.
- It's well made and well thought out steamer. It gets going very quickly so the timer is reasonably accurate.
- The timer ticking is alright, not to loud or unpleasant when sitting next to it.

- The container is large enough to cook a good deal of food, and the timer function makes cooking extremely convenient.
- The basket provides plenty of space and easy to set timer.
- Very easy, just put some water in the bottom container and set up timer.
- It completely stopped working after about 30 uses. The timer malfunctioned so that it would stop steaming every 15 seconds and has to be restarted.
- My only complaint is the numbers on the timer dial are real hard to see.
