- This is a good product. I say this because it lasted my entire harvest season last year running many, many, many hours without fails.
- The food doesn't stick to the tray either. It is so quiet for two fans.
- I love the two fans as it makes for more even drying results.
- I love the double fans so you can only run the top 4 trays if you don't have enough to run the entire 9 trays.
- I have had this for a month. Loved it. Now after about 6 uses the fans don't work.
Excalibur D500AC Dehydrator with Timer
- Unit cleans up pretty easily, as do trays.
- It drys efficiently and is very fast. The trays are easy to clean.
- It's holds a lot of food when fully loaded.
- Trays can be removed and the dehydrator used to proof dough or make yogurt- good little multi-tasker in that regard.
- Clean up is easy I just take the trays soak them in the sink pull them out and load them in the dishwasher no heat.

- It is so much more quieter than my other dehydrator was. It was pretty simple to program.
- Controls are easy to program. Lots of space for large batches.
- It has more convience of timer & temperature control, you can see the progress.
- The electronic timer and digital thermometer make the purchase worth it alone.
- A big plus is the timer and the night/day switch. The dual fans lets me dry just a shelf or two on the top or bottom.

- This one is so pretty! I love that it has a timer function.
- The timer and “keep warm” options are nice. Easy to clean.
- This model has a great timer so I don't forget them over night.
- The thermostat is a dial on top of the unit. It is marked with several temperature settings.
- The timer is loud and you can't turn off the alarm when the timer is up.

- I was surprised to find it arrived with 3 silicone mats as well as the 9 mesh liners for each of the trays.
- There is also a solid tray to block the top or bottom section off if only using one or the other.
- The design is great; dehydrates well.
- It looks nice and has some great features.
- After 4 hours the unit shut down and would not turn on. I tested the plug and it worked.
