What customers say about "Key Specs"
Phanteks PH-TC14PE Dual Heat-Pipes Dual 140mm Premium Fans and Quiet CPU Cooler
  • Operates silently and is very efficient at cooling my CPU. Matches my pc's color scheme. Additional hardware to mount an optional 3rd fan. Took only 10 minutes to remove the old CPU cooler and to install this one.
  • Overall I am very pleased with this CPU cooler and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for an aftermarket cooling solution!
  • Looks awesome and works well with 4790k that's overclocked at 4.7 on 4 cores and 4.8 on 2. The heatsink itself clears the Corsair Vengeance Pro DDR3 on my Asus Z97 pro wifi motherboard you just have to mount the fans a little higher and that doesn't appear to affect performance.
  • Silent and performs great. I don't have an air-conditioner and I live in Hawaii, so ambient temperatures are relatively high.
  • Super-efficient CPU heatsink when properly installed. Quiet with those huge fans.
Noctua NH-D15 Premium CPU Cooler
  • If you're not going with water cooling this is your best choice. This product beats out most of the entry level water cooling options and performs really close to the top end ones.
  • Keeps CPU extremely cool.
  • I'm actually a bit surprised but Noctua has convinced me. I don't often use Air coolers for builds anymore but if and when I need to I know that Noctua does make high performing products.
  • Best, most effective air-cooled heat sink I've ever owned. Don't even need the second fan that's included, I'm under 60 degrees C at full load at my max overclock.
  • With good airflow, this will allow you to overclock without worrying about cooling.

Phanteks PH-TC14PE Dual Heat-Pipes Dual 140mm Premium Fans and Quiet CPU Cooler
  • I think it'd actually be harder to install out of the case because of the cooler's size. I can already see I have to take it off to remove the motherboard because it's blocking at least one of the mounting holes.
  • The CPU cooler fits down into the case and even my mid-sized tower swallowed this thing with no issues.
  • Just keep in mind it's size sitting over the RAM slots with the fans installed. Chances are if you do not use low-profile RAM, you will need to move the fan mount up on the outer fan to accommodate taller RAM sinks.
  • Great CPU cooler, still working well, I figured from the sheer size of this cooler it would OC better then it does.
  • This one pushes the limits on covering the ram slots but stands 1 11/16 inch above the board which clears most all tall ram chips, such as mine (G. Skill Ripjaws 2X4 GB) but it does clear them.
Noctua NH-D15 Premium CPU Cooler
  • Installation is easy considering the size.
  • It does a nice job of cooling but it's huge. It blocks access to the memory modules on my motherboard.
  • Be prepared for the size of it and make sure it will fit in your case.
  • Only major complain is the size it's huge and a pain to put on and still interferes with ram space.
  • Be careful with the size of this monster. It is HUGE. If you have a large computer case, this shouldn't be a problem at all. The size of the cooler helps with its performance.

What customers say about "Features"
Phanteks PH-TC14PE Dual Heat-Pipes Dual 140mm Premium Fans and Quiet CPU Cooler
  • Great quality from the metal used in the heatsink to the wires used for the fans ( wrapped in white teflon cloth like material) Fan wires are nice length enough to keep them neat.
  • Quiet with those huge fans. Installation hardware is good enough to clamp this giant in place without any wiggle or contact problems. It is easy to modify (remove fins) to make it fit with tall memory modules. I'll post pictures of that shortly.
  • One of the 4 best benchmarked coolers in the world quieter, safer and more effective than even the most expensive liquid coolers
  • I would certainly not hesitate at all to recommend this CPU cooler for anyone desiring great cooling and low noise for notoriously hot CPUs.
  • Too much pressure needed to be applied down in order to get the bolts to screw into the "back plate"
Noctua NH-D15 Premium CPU Cooler
  • Even at 100% fan speed, they are not very loud.
  • Slightly puzzled by the inclusion of the speed reduction adapters, as even at full speed, these fans are completely silent.
  • This fan is quieter at full speed than my stock CPU cooler was at it's slowest.
  • It's about the same as the noise floor in a normal room.
  • A long way from the scary temperatures I was getting prior to the new cooler. I cant imagine this cooler getting hot ever!
