Rancilio MD40 Commercial Espresso Grinder The Rancilio MD40 Espresso Grinder is the perfect entry level grinder for a small coffee shop or cafe, as well as a nice upgrade for anyone in need of a heavy duty home grinder. Every feature about the Rancilio MD 40 is heavy duty, from its powerful motor, to its hardened burrs set in cast metal mountings, and even its cast aluminum portafilter fork. The 140 Watt motor turns slowly to prevent overheating the beans. The 50 mm hardened steel burrs have precise, front access adjustment for grind fineness. The body is made of die-cast aluminum and stainless steel for durability in high traffic areas.

The Gaggia MDF Grinder is a commercial grade burr grinder equal to those found in Europe's espresso bars and restaurants. Automatic dosing allows a premeasured amount of ground coffee to drop directly into the filter holder. Pull the lever once for one cup espresso, or twice for 2 cups. Precision-machined grinding burrs can be easily adjusted for 39 different degrees of fineness. The large hopper holds 10 ounces of coffee beans. Easy to use and perfect results are achieved each time. *Please note that most grinders are tested at the manufacturer and coffee grounds may be found in the grinder as a result. All machines sold are new unless otherwise clearly stated.

Great machine that grinds coffee consistently and easy to care for.
I grind my coffee for a French press, but the Capresso can be set for any type of grind you'd like.
So this little grinder is exactly what I wanted. It's compact, has a nice capacity hopper, and can do espresso grinds.
Even on the coarsest setting the coffee grinds pretty darn fine.
Disappointed. Settings for coarse grind are too fine for my liking.

The quality of this item is great. No complaints there.
The grind is superb for the price, so I will not return.
It is simple to use. Just drop beans into top part, then pull switch and wait for the grinder to finish.
The coffee grind is good and consistent. Machine works well.
The quality and consistency of the grind is constant and flawless.

It is durable, and I have never had any mechanical problems with it.
Very quiet, great consistant grind, solid build, smart design!
It has good weight without being too heavy to pick up and move easily.
Works great, powerful, relatively quite, great choice of grinds, and value for the money.
The only thing I might wish for is better storage for excess power cord.

The Gaggia grinder has a wide variety of settings, which allow you to easily grind beans for a standard coffee machine or for espresso.
The grind is excellent and very consistent. It's a work horse and will get the job done every day, all day, the same way.
It grinds very consistent and works great for espresso, french, and drip.
The doser would often get stuck with course grinds, making a huge mess while trying to get things unstuck.
The portafilter holder is not removable so getting anything other than a plate underneath the dispenser is challenging.
