What customers say about "Key Specs"
Onkyo TX-NR626 7.2-Channel Network Audio/Video Receiver
  • But this device, has the most bang for the buck-network, Bluetooth, 7.2 channels, hdmi, second room control and sharing, and they all work fine.
  • Every channel goes very loud without distortion.
  • The dynamic volume aspect is interesting, but seems to hype the center channel a bit too much.
  • I had to do a fair bit of research online to find out how to manually set up the receiver to use only a single back center channel.
  • The hardest part is setting up the number of speaker channels that you will be using.
  • There are several ways to input devices onto each channel - and that confused me for a bit.
Sony STR-DN1040 7.2-Channel Network A/V Receiver (Built-in Wi-fi & Bluetooth)
  • The watts per channel is really impressive--the difference is like night and day.
  • Drives my system ALMOST to the runners limit without distortion or chopping.
  • Lots of power As is the case with most systems, it's more than you'll probably need.
  • Power and ease of operation.
  • This machine is great! Very easy to use with lots of options and power.

What customers say about "Features"
Onkyo TX-NR626 7.2-Channel Network Audio/Video Receiver
  • This will allow me to use the better apps (Rhapsody, etc.) on my phone to stream music to my patio rather than using NET sources on the receiver from the patio where I can't see the TV screen display.
  • If you use the Onkyo 2 app on your iPhone you can remotely control the Bluetooth as well as the other inputs.
  • The networking features (like internet radio and DLNA) are also cool, but not something that I'll use often.
  • The remote app for smart phone/tablet is clunky and poorly thought out as well.
  • I think the receiver sounds pretty good EXCEPT that the streaming (Internet) radio stations have very limited frequency response at the high-end.
Sony STR-DN1040 7.2-Channel Network A/V Receiver (Built-in Wi-fi & Bluetooth)
  • A decent app to control the receiver from your smartphone or IPAD. The Pioneer apps are super.
  • Wireless internet radio works great.
  • The sound is excellent and the graphic interface is very nice and is easy to navigate.
  • It should allow you to fully control the unit from the browser, but instead it just gives you some basic feedback data.
  • Well when you plug this in you hear a low frequency hum. Yes its low but you here it just like hearing a fridge humm along. To me it was annoying like living next to power lines hum.

What customers say about "Connectivity"
Onkyo TX-NR626 7.2-Channel Network Audio/Video Receiver
  • Connecting to speakers and other hardware is easy and the unit has a phono input.
  • It takes a Bluetooth signal and outputs to RCA plugs or a miniplug, so essentially it is a Bluetooth to analog adapter.
  • Love the Bluetooth where I can play whatever audio I want that's on my iPhone on my receiver.
  • The Wi-Fi works great (it is cool) I get all the online music websites.
  • Got this today and I love it I use the second Zone to power my multi room audio system it works great I control it with my iPhone the app works great.
Sony STR-DN1040 7.2-Channel Network A/V Receiver (Built-in Wi-fi & Bluetooth)
  • The Bluetooth and wifi function is awesome because you do not to attach a wire to it (obviously).
  • Bluetooth worked fine, auto volume correction worked decent.
  • Does everything I need and still have room to spare. Great for multi-console owners and avid television viewers.
  • And when the HDMI works it works well.
  • Bluetooth connectivity not great in terms of sound quality. Somewhat cumbersome UI.
