About the Product
Upon its release in 2000, The Razor A kick-scooter captured the hearts and minds of kids of all ages, and has become an icon of American culture and the go-to ride for urban dwellers, celebrities, commuters, co-eds, and anyone who’s going places.
The A2 picks up on the classic aluminum style, then steps it up with a springless shock system and wheelie bar. Could this be too much of a good thing?

What customers say about "Key Specs"
Razor A Kick Scooter
  • It is not intended for children his age though so use extreme caution if a child under 5 uses it.
  • This is a great scooter!! My 5 y.o. loved it for her birthday! After a few tries, she can really go on it! She's small for her age, and we live in a mountainous area, so it's not exactly a piece of cake for her to ride anything with wheels.
  • Bought 4 of these scooters for my kids ages 8, 7, 5, & 4. We were sick of all the bikes taking up so much room in our garage. The kids LOVE these.
  • My kids love these!! Age 4 and age 5, girl and boy, teaches balance and promotes healthy exercise safely with use of helmet
  • My daughter is age 7 and still thinks it is just best thing ever right now.
Razor A2 Kick Scooter
  • The age range of our kids that utilize these is age 6 through age 15. They all really enjoy the product.
  • Easy, easy, easy to set up. The grandsons, ages 6 and 8, love it! Bargain price!
  • This was a present for a 4 year old, but has been stolen by multiple older siblings up to age 15.
  • The wheels spin smoothly and the scooter can hold more than the recommended weight (i'm around 185lbs and it doesn't even bend it).
  • The scooter is very sturdy and can handle my weight and aggressive riding. I would not buy this type of scooter if you plan to ride aggressively in any way.

What customers say about "Construction"
Razor A Kick Scooter
  • This product is made of quality material and will definitely stand up to the test of time and the abuse of a 6 year old active boy.
  • It's sturdy material, made well. Handles bumps in the road smoothly. He rides it everywhere!
  • I am very pleased with the quality of materials and workmanship. The children really enjoy these scooters and ride them frequently.
  • I gave it 5 stars because it's a really quality scooter. The mechanics are smooth and quality materials.
  • The wheels spin less than my old one - especially the front wheel. But that could be because it needs to break in more. (I did lube it up). I might loosen it a bit to see if that helps.
Razor A2 Kick Scooter
  • The wheels are of high quality rubber, like rollerblade wheels and the whole scoother is made of sturdy aluminum. If you take care of this and keep it dry, it should last many years.
  • It is sturdy and rides very smoothly.
  • It is very sturdy and better than the previous generation model.
  • The wheels are amazing smooth and the build is of good quality.
  • Have been having some problems with the front wheel sticking and the bolt that allows you to raise the handles coming loose.

What customers say about "Features"
Razor A Kick Scooter
  • I like that they come in different colors so he and his sister can tell which one is theirs.
  • I purchased 2 in Red because they were cheaper than the other colors. I was looking at fancier scooters with lights and stuff, but was on a budget so got this model.
  • The scooter came already assembled. I just had to adjust the handle bars up and pull the middle bar away from the foot peddle. It was so easy. I was very impressed.
  • Very very easy to “assemble”. You just snap the handles in place and move the bottom part down, using a lever to unlock.
  • Pretty much already assembled and ready to go. Give your child some basic training sessions before letting them run wild: How to turn, how to use the brake properly, avoiding people, etc.
Razor A2 Kick Scooter
  • Bought this for my 8 year old since he wanted one without the three wheels for smaller kids. He loves the colors of it and is having a blast!
  • Really nothing to assemble just unfold, hardest thing for us as parents is to get her to wear her protective gear.
  • You have to pop the handles into place once you get it out of the box, but there's no other assembly required.
  • The fact that no assembly was required was well appreciated.
  • Great quality scooter that's easy to assemble, fold down for transporting, etc.
