- I like it very much. This is the fastest CPU that will fit in my Gigabyte Z170x Gaming 5.
- The I7 7700k is a great CPU. Great socket. Easy to install.
- Socketed in and started up, no issues whatsoever.
- The 7th gen processors are so easy to set in place. I love the spring contacts on the sockets for them.
- If you aren't planning using Windows 10 - Kaby Lake will not support previous versions of Windows natively.
- I have this with a Prime Z390-A mobo and an RTX 2060 Super GPU, and all new games so fun look and run marvelously on max settings.

- Overclocks just fine from 4.2 GHz to 4.5.
- The i7-7700K can be overclocked to a stable 5.1GHz with water cooling.
- The i7-7700K first off very noticeably faster than my previous i5, I use this in my gaming build which I paired with an ASUS GTX 1080.
- Performance on this CPU is great.

- I installed this on the Gigabyte Aorus Z390 Pro because it has good VRMs and supports up to 5.0GHz overclocking.

- Super fast and works perfectly with my Asus Maximus IX motherboard and G.Skill 3600 Memory.
- Paired the 7700k with an Asus Apex using Trident Z memory. Great performance.
- There are no problems with memory compatibility.
- The memory runs great at full speed with this processor.
- Unfortunately the maximum amount of memory is 64GB, which is not enough for my needs.
- The MSI board offers a very simple overclocking tool, and almost immediately I was running at 4.6ghz on the CPU and 3000mhz on the memory.
