The mid's are delicious; they have soulful, creamy, and sultry quality to them. While they are laid back, they are airy while still being fairly palpable. Wonderful!
The bass is deep and extremely well textured. You can both hear and feel the undulations of the bass notes.
The highs are presented in a forward, almost razor precise, sweet and playful manner without making you vince.
The first impression is a low frequency band that comes out clean and a high frequency band that is bright.
These devices also can't really drive its low frequency, transient is much less controlled and sounds loose.

Smooth, soothing sound quality while still retaining great amount of detail. These headphones will melt your stress away.
Fantastic sound, albeit a bit on the darker side. Amazingly natural mids, and poignant lows with controlled highs.
They sound good with pretty much every genre, which makes this a very unique headphone.
This headphone is what is referred to as "colored" and not truly neutral. There is a mid bass hump and the treble is slightly rolled off.
Bass response lacks definition as you would get from some planar magnetic headphones.

They are the perfect size and fit perfectly on me.
They seem so small and when I put them on I don’t even feel them on myself. They do not seem so heavy.
Too heavy and bulky to be portable. Headband a bit too tight.
It isn't good for that because it is too heavy and makes my neck hurt.
They’re a little big and heavy to be perfect portable headphones.

Great design, lightweight, super comfortable and relatively easy to drive.
They're very comfortable and, more importantly, weight less than 300 grams.
Beautiful, lightweight and sound-sealed better than any headphone in it's weight-class, the cable is very long.
Weight is perfect, clamping force is perfect, feel is perfect. I hold them up with one finger and am pleased with the weight.
I would not recommend them for portable solution, their huge size, along with the open aire design would make them impractical on the go, for outdoors and public places.

I hate harsh headphones and these simply aren't that. Relaxed and smooth.
They can be folded allowing you to take them with you on a journey.
The accessories are also useful. One short cable, which I use most of the time and one long cable, which I use when i sit in the listening chair farther from my computer, are included.
Top of the head gets uncomfortable quickly, and the shape of the ears dosen't allow you to adjust the position at all.
Build quality around the extension feels fragile, ear cup sits directly on your ear, uncomfortable if wearing more than an hour.

The internal ear cups are silk lined, well padded, and provide a very adequate cushion to the ears. The ear cups are very adequate size and provide a very good listening experience.
The Sennheiser HD 650 headphones are open dynamic, well designed, well made with high quality materials and comfortable to wear.
The beauty, clarity of the music, the detail and nuances are outstanding. You will hear a level of musical sound that you may not have heard before with lesser quality headphones.
Replacement cables are either very mediocre, super expensive, or take eternity to get. The OG cable isn't bad, but it's 10 feet long. Half that would've been fine.
Design is functional (and comfortable) but not stylish; they don't fold, not even a little.
