What customers say about "Key Specs"
Sony MDR-Z7 Hi-Res Stereo Headphones
  • Headphone have powerful, in-your-gut bass and have extraordinary clarity and soundstage at the same time.
  • All I can share with you in that these truly sound amazing. Bass, mids, and trebs are all present without being lost or missing from movies, gaming, and music
  • This is biggest frequency response i have ever seen in a pair of headphones.
  • This one is even better even though it is a closed back versus the open of the Grados.
  • The problem is the bass will sound muddy half the time and over power the mids.
Sony MDR-1A Premium Hi-Res Stereo Headphones
  • Very clear, clean, and dynamic sound across the board.
  • The sound is almost identical to the acoustic grand piano sound. Very accurate sound across all the octaves.
  • They sound so good, listening to music I've heard 1000 times is like listening to it for the first time all over again.
  • Sound is wonderful and full. The bass is solid and hits really low but doesn't sound excessive or bloated.
  • The bass is so tight and punchy and the mids are warm and the treble sparkles with amazing clarity. These sound amazing.

What customers say about "Features"
Sony MDR-Z7 Hi-Res Stereo Headphones
  • 70mm drivers are massive, they are so big they take up the whole cup and then some. But this is worth of the sound that you get.
  • The Z7's are really comfortable. Soft leather cushions floating on your ears
  • The headphones are very comfortable, and this was noted by everyone to whom I let them listen.
  • The cable needs to be changed. It is worth saying that this is a Sony's bad.
  • Cable that is provided is super long, you may need to purchase a custom mod'ed cable to more portable use.
Sony MDR-1A Premium Hi-Res Stereo Headphones
  • If you have an Android smartphone, you will love the additional features these headphones provide.
  • With their ear-cups surrounding your ears, it is a very singular experience.
  • The product comes with two cables (one has a special button for mobile devices).
  • Their noise isolation is not at the level where they can be compared with premium noise cancelling headphones.
  • My only complaint is that the headband/frame that connects the cans to the headband squeaks and groans if moved around.
