It has great clarity of high frequencies thanks to the 990's slight emphasis on treble and open back.
These headphones are awesome! Great frequency response, especially in the bass region.
Affordable, Frequency response is 5 - 35hZ (fantastic), Comfortable to wear out of the box.
The overall frequency response is very impressive having booming lows and crystal clear highs.
The way it responds with the High and Mid frequencies is priceless and I have never seen any other headphones do it.

The high frequency is good with spacious feeling due to open back.
The frequency response is amazing in this Dt 990, for music recording is amazing.
I have no complaints with the audio quality. The headphones have great responses across all the audible frequencies.
They are crisp at all frequencies, and their open design allows for good music imaging. Sound is balanced: very clean, strong bass response, but not overdriven.
With certain music/frequencies, there is just the faintest cracking/popping coming from one of the headphones.

Comfort 11/10 To date, these are the most comfortable headphones I have ever worn. Nothing much else to say about this.
My head is average size for an adult, maybe a tad bit smaller than average but not by much. I can wear these cans for 8 hours, and not ever feel discomfort.
I love how comfortable they are. I have a small head, and very few headphones feel comfortable on my head. But these are always very comfortable.
Very comfortable, with a secure fit but no clamp effect on my head.
More than any other headphone I have worn they are comfortable. You can just wear these things for hours and hours. combined with the good sound.

I have a medium/small head and small ears and these adjust to even smaller sizes than I need.
Adjustment is loose when selecting the size but once you put it on it holds just as it should. Very quality product to feel and look.
You'll find that after a few minutes with them on, you won't even know there are there anymore, despite their weight and size.
The headsets elasticity/rigidity as it wraps around your head is fantastic! I never feel any sense of tightness on the top or sides of my head and also never feel any impact of the weight.
SUPER-important with any expensive pair of headphones, these things are unbelievable light-weight and comfortable.

DT990s go around your ears and the clamping force isn't that bad and I have a big head and the velour earcups are soft.
They"re so comfortable, they feel soft and just right on my ears.
The ear cups are a soft high quality material that feels like memory foam.
These are very comfortable on the head, with the headband being very soft and flexible.
It's build very well and durable, and comes with very soft earpads for the perfect comfort.

They have a pleasant amount of bass, but not overpowered. Voices are clear.
Mid and high bass are tight and do not bleed into mids. The mids...THE MIDS...very precise mids and highs are very well executed.
The bass is warm, with the mid-range and highs being very crisp. If you're looking for a pair of these for gaming I would definitely recommend.
The bass is perfect. They can handle any bass, they will not start crackling. The amount and quality of bass are ideal. I don't want any more or less. It feels very natural.
The bass is crystal clear!! It's mind blowing! Incredible sound, very happy!
