What customers say about "Key Specs"
CycleOps Fluid Trainer
  • I loved this trainer. It was my first trainer, and it made it easy to commit to regular workouts.
  • Bought for sons soccer rehab. Now waterpolo player son also uses it and wife has joined in!!! Added speed and cadence sensors so we can really get in to it!!!
  • If you're on a budget and have a compatible bike and no need for advanced features, this is a good solid option for you.
  • I really like this product. It is well-made, quite sturdy, and indeed does what it is supposed to do. I simply place it on the floor of my garage, roll my bike up to it, place my bike's rear wheel in the slot, and I can pretend I am at a spin class.
  • Overall I'm very disappointed in this product. CycleOps has good products on the market and i've enjoyed some of their other goods but they missed the mark on this one.
CycleOps Fluid2 Indoor Trainer
  • I wanted a solid, well built machine that would provide a smooth road-like feel when pedaling and so I was willing to pay a bit more. This device does all of that and I'm very happy with it.
  • Great trainer and easy to setup. Took about 10 minutes from out of the box to ready to use. Smooth and road like feel.
  • This is a great trainer for some serious training. During the week it get hard to go out and do the miles.
  • Not only is the trainer great, the company is amazing!! Bought one of these about 4-5 years ago and use it at least 3 times a week for 45 minutes each time.
  • For many years I would ride wind resistance rollers in the winter but now I'm blind in one eye and have no depth perception so the rollers have become very difficult, not to mention riding outdoors. I decided to buy this trainer as a replacement.

What customers say about "Features"
CycleOps Fluid Trainer
  • Installation really is not that difficult. There are pictures and everything. Unboxing and "build" took all of 15 minutes.
  • This unit is sturdy and solid-feeling, goes together very easily without even really needing to rely on the included instruction sheet.
  • The biggest problem for me was the supplied skewer did not fit into the lug on the stand. The hole was too small for the skewer to fit into securely.
  • Would have five stars except for the plastic roller. My old CycleOps has an alloy roller that barely shows wear after 20 years.
  • There is no built-in ability to add a power meter to integrate with something like Zwift, and its not one of the supported "old school" trainers, so Zwift doesn't know how to convert cadence & resistance into wattage.
CycleOps Fluid2 Indoor Trainer
  • Also very quiet at 76db around 80rpm. I had this trainer for a little over a week now and only put on a few miles because I still ride outdoors.
  • Obviously this doesn't come with whatever smart features, but I could do without those.
  • Once u connect bike there is noise from wind (wheel spinning) and from tire friction against device so advertising is not being truly honest about overall noise.
  • The only possible downfall would be that there is some noise associated with the bicycle's wheel's contact with the drive wheel. Very happy with purchase.
  • Mechanical things make noise and this one does also.
