What customers say about "Key Specs"

Amazon Fire TV Stick
  • As an owner of multiple devices of this type, I am extremely impressed with the Amazon Fire Tv Stick In a comparison to similar devices in core(s) and RAM, the Amazon Fire Tv Stick performs extremely well.
  • This is great, for $40.00 you are getting a dual core processor and 1 GB of RAM. Those are great specs for a device in this price range.
  • Fast responsive device, I have yet to have a freeze up. Easy to set up, takes literally minutes
  • The Amazon TV stick tends to buffer a lot while streaming through Kodi. that can probably be due to its Dual core ARM Cortex A9 CPU that runs up to 1GHz and it's 1GB of RAM.
  • With its dual-core processor and 8GB of storage, I have yet to experience any lag or connectivity issues. One minor con is that I had to connect an Amazon account with a linked credit/debit card before I could download any FREE apps but other than that, this product is amazing.

What customers say about "Hardware"

Amazon Fire TV Stick
  • More ram/memory than the competition(keeps things running smooth)
  • It does come with Cloud Storage for photo's and you can view them on your tv screen.
  • It has a very limited amount of good games. Do to the ram size. And the apps like YouTube are the same as the one on Xbox and it doesn't support 60fps video. Very little storage.
  • Ram seems limited for when running heavy apps Iike video games or apps with lots of video previews.
  • If I have one complaint its the lack of RAM, and non expandable storage.
  • It seem's to me either it doesn't have enough ram or the processor isn't fast enough for the HDTV shows.

What customers say about "Software"

Amazon Fire TV Stick
  • Speaking of Android, the OS on Fire TV devices is, of course, a heavily modified version of Android, but it is still Android at its core. This a major benefit over Roku and Chromecast
  • All of my subscription services such as Netflix Hulu HBO Go, showtime anytime etc are all comparable and are at my fingertips
  • I loved the convenience of having all the apps in one place so i can conveniently switch from amazon prime videos, to hulu, to HBO go, to showtime, etc.
  • Fire OS is very unstable, really needs monthly updates to improve reliability.

What customers say about "Features"

Amazon Fire TV Stick
  • I love the formats and how easy it is to watch so many different streaming services and apps.
  • The remote is slim, easy to operate, and provides good button feedback.
  • The Player is unable to play common formats like AVI or MKV
  • No voice search without the additional remote(or phone app), but i really never used it
  • The remote given to you is so small easy to lose and not very durable.
