Very fast little chip w/ large storage capacity. Thinking to buy one more :)
Sequential read reached 2.5GB/s, more than twice as fast as the Samsung. It does heat up quickly and will throttle back speed when it gets too hot, but the transfers are usually so quick it doesn't have time to get hot.
Excellent option for the latest technology in hard drives. I have installed this into my X99 Broadwell-E system and so far am impressed. I am using this as my C drive, and speeds are quick. I was hoping for quicker boot times, but cannot complain.
I seriously cannot believe how fast this is. I just installed windows 10 with a USB 3.0 flash drive using windows 10 boot tool, to this m.2 drive. It installed in like 6 minutes. I've never seen such great speeds. This drive is fantastic.
It's fast! Worked fine in an Intel Skull trail! x3 speeds of any conventional 2.5" SSD

The load times for games and applications is insane. I have used SSD's for several years, but I'm still blown away with how well this drive performs. I can't recommend this enough.
This thing smokes every other SSD I have ever used. My motherboard takes 5x as long to post as this SSD takes to load Windows 10. I have never even seen the Windows loading screen.
The device meets all of the speeds it advertises and works well.
My computer basically boots in less than one second now. This product is fast and I would highly recommend going forward.
It is great and runs great. My notebook spin from samsung now boots in less than 10 seconds! Meets performance from school work to military assignments. I only regret not buying a bigger capacity.

OCZ has a very good Utility with lot of options like Secure Delete, Over Provision, Smart monitoring, etc.
Excellent option for the latest technology in hard drives. I have installed this into my X99 Broadwell-E system and so far am impressed. I am using this as my C drive, and speeds are quick.
Be sure to use the correct drivers when installing this unit, I don't recommend using Microsoft drivers with this drive, it'll work much better with the OCZ drivers.
I'm not going to waste my time & drive hours running speed statistics test because I'm happy with it as it is. My only concern was temperatures, since that will affect the life and/or throttling of the RD400..
It's probably fine, however this is not compatible with the Intel Rapid Storage Technology (RST) native to Z170 motherboards. Therefore, it cannot be configured in hardware RAID for OS installation.

Installation was quick and easy, and the performance is better than any Drive I've ever personally used. Boot times around 6 seconds, it loads games and apps like nobody's business
Intel's NVME drives pale in comparison to this guy. The drives are no longer bottle necking your system. Probably overkill for most people.
The crazy small form-factor and the fact that it mounts directly to the motherboard means that I don't have to worry about running any cables or factoring in an SSD cage/spot in the back of my case.
Did not come with a screw to secure the drive (I'm just being picky)
Not all games utilize the ssd for faster boot time.
This may be nit-picking, but Samsung does not include a mounting screw to attach to the MB.
