If you are looking for a router that prioritizes streaming capability and has dual band connection this is the one.
I bought this on the recommendation of many reviews from multiple sources. It was easy to set up. It has good range and so far reliable.
The range is a solid 100 feet further out into the yard as well.
Want fast speeds, but don't want to feel like you have to take out a loan to do so? This is the router for you. Let's of customizable settings, and haven't had any problems yet.
It says high range but it still doesn't cover my upstairs, this is for a one story house and u have to be in the next room to get good quality

The signal strength in 2.4 Ghz is very good but, as expected, 5g is very weak when I get outside and further away from router. Overall speed is excellent.
This is a durable and reliable router. It has great range and fast speeds.

This Archer C7 is so easy to set up and so fast! Getting download speeds of about 125. Great range as well...I have the router on the first floor and still get consistent speeds on the second floor, in the basement and even in the garage

The 3 antenna helps with reception through the house.
After purchasing and installing, I can confirm that this handles all my devices now with ease. The router/network administration software is superb.
This router is really fast and reliable network. It has a high range of network that covered my entire house.
Price was good, however compared to my last router this Asus is extremely hard to install.
IPhone ios apps for this router is not working, can not connect. Same issue have many other users. No fix after 1 month of purchase

TP-LINK Archer Wireless Router AC1900 Smart WiFi Dual-Band Gigabit

The features are ideal for my needs, from sharing a printer and USB file server to supporting QoS, VPN, and Parental Controls. I particularly like the ability to enable a guest network for visitors without allowing them to see each other or my own network.
In terms of performance, the C7 works very well. The 3 antennas provide great coverage and range. I found that having the outer antennas at a 45 degree angle and the middle antenna standing straight up, worked best for me.
The setup was very quick and I was on-line within a few minutes. The unit looks solid, and has 3 detachable antennas.
The three antennas make for some good coverage. Nice product with nice features! Submitted as part of a free sample program.
Some other features that I find useful include QoS, parental controls and offline downloads.

My old router was hacked and didn't perform well with all the users in the house. This Asus are the best. All the bandwidth we want, no reduced signals, and feel very secure with their firewall.
Very fast and secure router with many great options. You can even monitor from remote devices.
Not the easiest router to set-up but the performance has been excellent and the internet security features were highly recommended by IT professionals.
This router is Fast And more Secure than NetGear, no drop out! very nice router.
Love the router and how tight it is with security.

TP-LINK Archer Wireless Router AC1900 Smart WiFi Dual-Band Gigabit

This router is simple, secure, and fast. So far very reliable.
The router has support for OpenVPN and PPTP VPN built in, which allows secure access to my home computers and files from the internet when I am not at home.
The AC1750 has some nice features and includes 2 USB2.0 ports for backups, filesharing or a print server. The AC1750 has guest networks, good speed and some limited parental controls.
Of course if you want to go into more specific account settings such as parental controls and QoS priority, it will take a bit more time.
The C7 has all the modern and advanced features you would expect to find in an AC1750 Wi-Fi router.
