  • This pack is just right for both hiking and travel: durable, light enough, just the right size and well-made.
  • This pack is extremely comfortable. The ventilation on my back is great and the padding makes this super comfy.
  • The tablet pocket is perfect and genius. It`s just the right size, protected my tech and was very durable.
  • This thing is comfortable, light weight, yet heavy duty, holds my laptop and all accessories as well as lunch and whatever else i can cram in there. Perfect size and support structure.
  • It's ideally sized for school, with compartments for everything you would need. Extremely comfortable to wear all day long.
  • It is heavy, stiff, difficult to take on and off, especially in crowded environments.
The North Face Borealis TNF Black, One Size
  • I love this bag. It's extremely comfortable and spacious and holds everything we need for traveling and work.
  • It fits under an airline seat so you don't have to fight for overhead baggage space with the steamer trunk packers. I would definitely recommend this pack.
  • Looks sharp and is lightweight and easy to carry and maneuver in and out car and locker, yet has plenty of room.
  • Extremely light and comfortable. I have a heavy duty laptop that fits perfectly in there and it doesn't feel too heavy!
  • It sits comfortably on my shoulders and even with my laptop and several days of clothing in it, I felt no discomfort after carrying it all day.
  • I would not call this lightweight but its a normal weight for features.

What customers say about "Features"
The North Face Recon Unisex
  • The first smaller panel has a variety of pouches, pockets and nets that keep everything organized from tablets to multi tools.
  • My favorite feature is the small zip pocket in the front, at the top; it gives me easy access to my keys, headphones, and ID.
  • The bag has held up perfectly and it shows no sign of wearing out. It fits all of my books, folders, binders, and pencils just fine with room for other little things.
  • The mesh pouch on the front allows for an easy place to put a snack. The straps buckle around your body to help with mobility while carrying a heavy load and let me tell you, it helps!
  • It has so many bells and whistles it's unbelievable. All of the clips and zippers are really high quality and don't seem to be breaking or wearing hard anytime soon.
  • The one thing I would love to see on these packs are deployable rain covers across the whole line.
  • The only negative i can find is that when placed on the floor it has poor balance.
The North Face Borealis TNF Black, One Size
  • Strong backpack with enough capacity for short travels, specially if you are practical organizing your gear. At the same time, beautiful, or that is what i get to hear normally.
  • Excellent built quality. Having lots of pockets for all my smaller materials/belongings is also a great feature. The straps have a sturdy rugged built and they're comfortable.
  • The laptop pouch is perfect for my laptop and the straps tighten up well and sit nicely on my shoulders. I was happy to see that the lap strap was removable as well.
  • It has plenty of room and I enjoy the smaller middle pocket because it is the perfect place for all your pens, notepads, wallets, smaller items, etc.
  • Great backpack for the price! The quality is great. The tactile and rugged zippers, pouches, straps, and the entire bag itself is outstanding.
  • The pockets are way too deep, which makes it hard to find what I'm looking for quickly and they are not wide enough, so I can't fit enough things in it.
