What customers say about "Key Specs"
Deuter Speed Lite 20 Athletic Daypack
  • I love this backpack. I wanted a backpack that's good for everyday use as well as day hikes. The shoulder straps are padded. Love the sternum strap and hip belt.
  • Just the right size to hold all everything I need but not so big that it makes it cumbersome to climb with. LOVE IT!
  • I use it on day hikes and for travel. I love it! It sits perfectly on my back and doesn’t swing around when I move, like so many others do.
  • This is a comfortable and low-profile bag that holds a surprising amount of stuff in its 20 liter volume. It carries its load comfortably and securely.
  • The pack is really light and comfy. I have been using it for alpine climbs and it really helps to go “light and fast”.
Osprey Talon 22 Men's Hiking Backpack
  • The construction, comfort and adjustability are excellent which relate to both a durable backpack and a very comfortable carry.
  • Love the comfort of this bag! I love the way the shoulder straps fit-they hold the bag close without confining. For fit and comfort--can't be beat.
  • I love this backpack primarily because it is so light, but it's also very comfortable with heat- and moisture-dispersing features.
  • I really like this pack for dayhikes. Plenty of compartments to keep your things organized. Lightweight and comfortable on the shoulders even with larger loads.
  • The bag is very comfortable and you can even adjust the size on th back and hips which is a big plus on getting that personal fit.
  • Overall a good pack. But I'm a big guy and even with the straps all the way out it was a very tight fit.

What customers say about "Features"
Deuter Speed Lite 20 Athletic Daypack
  • It holds my water bottles on the sides where I can easily reach them. For travel it holds my tablet and books, sweaters, jackets, and snacks.
  • The ergonomics of the shoulder straps works very well for me. The mechanism for adjusting the eight of the chest strap works very nicely.
  • Best backpack! great for a weekend trip or a day in the park or anywhere else you go. It has great buckles for carrying extra items and small compartments for organizations.
  • The flexible rubber frame help the bag keep its shape when not stuffed full of gear. It could use tie-downs or straps to store trekking pols or heavier coat.
  • No front open “shovel” mesh stash pocket or daisy chain to add stretch cords for make-shift stash place—this is the biggest drawback.
Osprey Talon 22 Men's Hiking Backpack
  • It is just the right size - carry home groceries from the store, carry computer and files to work, fold up my yoga mat and gym clothes and off I go.
  • This pack is light and breaths well. I am tall and the med/large hip belt tends to ride a little high but still does a good job. The outer stash pocket works well for rain jackets.
  • This bag has a great pocket configuration, I like the smaller top pocket for keys, wallet, phone the zipper is also hidden nicely so it’s very discrete for travel on cities.
  • The size of this bag is perfect to hold a good amount of water, food, small gear and some extra clothing. The pockets are set up well and easily accessible.
  • Ventilation is great, the back webbing helps negate a lot of moisture ( but not all) and the shoulder straps have great ventilation too.
  • The strap system for both shoulder and waist straps seems needlessly complex and of questionable utilit.
