They are well constructed. they have a good weight to them that keeps them stable and transfers the bass to the floor. the cabinet construction is solid.

The driver’s are a long throw heavy speaker design. They Perform way above their price point!!

The sound is super clean at loud volumes. Easily fills up a mid size living room.
These speakers really sound great. I am running them bi-amped and they really have impressed me.
These polks are well made, perform extremely well and do so effortlessly, with clarity in the highs, more and bass that is tight and powerful.
The soundstage has depth, instruments have accurate pitch and tone, while voices have immense clarity and timbre.
They can handle jazz, hip hop, rap and Pop with equal agility and no sign of any lacking.

The A5s are easy to drive with my 75 watt rms receiver. I was afraid that they might be too much speaker for my 200 sq foot apartment living room and overwhelm it. This is not the case.
I paired these with a BIC F-12 sub and couldn't be happier. This setup sounds amazing, shakes the walls and has fantastic clarity.
Bought these as my front channels, hooked to a Onkyo Receiver, and Polk RTI series finishing out my other channels. I was blown away by the sound quality.
I love these speakers. They sound great for music and A/V.
It seems like sound is coming from the center channel it's so good. Music sounds better than ever, I'm hearing things in songs I never knew were there.

Sound is clear and tight. Washed black walnut looks fantastic.
The build quality and fit and finish are top notch too. You need these!
Can't tell you how great these speakers are, sound is so good, the look, with or without cover grills, will fit into your Theater.
I found the woofers' color did not look the same as the picture suggests.
People who are looking for good sound and nice looking piece of furniture combined in the speakers may be unsatisfied.
