What customers say about "Key Specs"
Cygolite Expilion 600 Lumen USB Rechargeable Bicycle Headlight, Black, One Size
  • It is very bright. Even on the low setting, it is plenty to illuminate an unlit, heavily shaded bike path at night.
  • Wow, I can light up the street for close to 50 feet in front of me and the stop sign at the end of the street, about 150 yards off.
  • On the higher settings, it feels about as bright as a car headlamp.
  • I personally run on low or steady-pulse during the wee hours of the morning. It provides enough light for the paved roads I ride.
  • The medium setting is more than bright enough and the bright setting is almost overkill.
Cygolite Metro 550 USB Rechargeable Bike Light
  • It's powerful. The lowest setting would be ideal for walking around a campsite. The highest makes my capable Black Diamond headlamp from 2012 seem like a dollar-store flashlight.
  • The Cygolite Metro 550 USB light is bright, rugged light for my urban commute.
  • Blink modes are visible head-on in broad daylight.
  • There's multiple settings but I used the brightest beam - I could see at least 20 ft in front of me.
  • Excellent product, it will give you enough light in the dark, to ride it to your destination safely.

What customers say about "Features"
Cygolite Expilion 600 Lumen USB Rechargeable Bicycle Headlight, Black, One Size
  • The low battery warning goes off a couple hours before you need to recharge, so you are unlikely to get caught with a dead battery.
  • So far, I love this light. It's very easy to take on/off the bike, which is a huge plus.
  • The silicone button blinks at you when it's starting to get low on charge (and it fades a bit) so you have a good heads up.
  • The 600 comes with an electric wall adapter to plug the USB into unlike the 420's; I suspect the 420's can share the same adapter though.
  • Nicely constructed, solid feel. Easily mounts on handlebar with quick release mechanism.
Cygolite Metro 550 USB Rechargeable Bike Light
  • Mounting is a strong point. The metal quick-release mount is very secure, as is the plastic sliding release mount.
  • The light's mount works effectively and is suitably stable.
  • The light has also been resistant to water so far, including rides in moderately heavy rain.
  • The charging port is accessible while it’s on the bike and it’ll run with the battery plugged in.
  • Mounting on the handlebar is simple, easy to move from bike to bike. Once it's in place on the bare, the lamp can be clipped in and out of the base bracket easily.

What customers say about "Power"
Cygolite Expilion 600 Lumen USB Rechargeable Bicycle Headlight, Black, One Size
  • The rechargeable battery is a breeze to install or remove, if you need to, and the USB charger is a must for any technophile!
  • It charges easily and the battery is easy to remove.
  • The battery is removable so you can carry a spare of long rides or if you are lazy if you don't charge it every few days.
  • I easily get a few skating sessions of use before needing to charge it. Well made product.
  • The good thing is, you can always buy a replacement battery and swap it out on longer rides.
Cygolite Metro 550 USB Rechargeable Bike Light
  • It’s still brand new but so far battery life is great.
  • The charging ability via USB is very handy as well.
  • The burn time as advertised on the box seems accurate and I have had no problem recharging with the usb on my work and home computers.
  • Very good light unit, battery last long time.
  • Low also will run for something like 9 hours, I think, so I don't have to worry about the light getting tired before I do.
