The color temperature is about 6000k, so it's a bit blue, not harsh like the cheap crap though.
The front headlight is clearly visible during the day, and the flashing mode makes you pop out to oncoming traffic.
I also love that it only has 4 settings: dim, medium, bright, flashing.
Its definitely bright enough to see by in all lighting conditions in which you need a light. Its definitely bright enough to be seen by.
As safety lights, these should be very good. I tried it with someone and the visibility is great.

This might be brighter than my damn car's headlights.
I used it two nights ago and the moment the headlight came on the signs and reflectors three blocks down were being illuminated by the Blitzu.
I love it! It's bright, compact, stylish and very light weight. I dig it!!!!
It is. It's small, light and compact. It is BRIGHT!. It has 4 modes of operation: three stages of brightness (trading intensity for battery-reserve), and my favorite, a pulsed mode.
The front headlight seems fine - bright and with a versatile mounting system.

The mount for the front light is pretty robust and grips well on the handlebar or handlebar stem, and tilts up and down.
The front light slides in and clicks securely with a plastic tab that must be pressed down to release the light.
I have not tested its waterproof abilities as of yet.. But It seems sealed enough to handle rain.
The mount for the headlight is prettt neat, it cants from side to side and does so with a variable level of tension.
It attaches easily and detaches quickly. I love the small size.

This headlight comes off its mount so you can easily recharge it without having to redo it every single time.
Powerful. The rear light is good also. Both were easy to mount and no problems so far.
The front light is easily detached leaving the mount in place so you can easily charge it which is a great feature.
The mount is excellent, it fits nicely on the bars near the stem and doesn't mess with the shift and brake housings.
There's a rain-resistant cap on the light to cover the Micro-USB port during use.

After completely draining the batteries they charged in around a couple hours using the small cube iPhone charger.
The charging port is micro USB-B, which means it's compatible with the vast majority of smartphone cables out there.
Genius that it is USB rechargeable. This makes it very easy to recharge it at work or home, or anywhere else.
Very bright at brightest settings. LOVE the USB rechargeable capability.
The batteries are rechargeable via USB, no trip to the store, or forgetting batteries while at the store.

The USB charging feature is very functional and easy to use. Once charged the indicator light stops flashing and goes to a steady glow.
Recharging is simple with a Micro-USB to USB cable, included.
There is no more replacing batteries, simply plug it into a microUSB wall charger or computer port and it will reach full charge within about 2 hours.
Excellent. Still using this over a year later! Rechargeable is the best.
Being able to recharge it via USB port is great; I don't use the light every day and haven't needed to recharge it yet.
