What customers say about "Key Specs"
Cygolite Metro 550 USB Rechargeable Bike Light
  • It's powerful. The lowest setting would be ideal for walking around a campsite. The highest makes my capable Black Diamond headlamp from 2012 seem like a dollar-store flashlight.
  • The Cygolite Metro 550 USB light is bright, rugged light for my urban commute.
  • Blink modes are visible head-on in broad daylight.
  • There's multiple settings but I used the brightest beam - I could see at least 20 ft in front of me.
  • Excellent product, it will give you enough light in the dark, to ride it to your destination safely.
NiteRider Lumina Micro 550 Lumens Cree LED Bicycle Headlight USB Rechargeable
  • On the highest setting, you absolutely can both see and be seen on very dark roads and pitch black bike paths.
  • The lumen rating is with range of accuracy, its a see and be seen light, and will work very well for most situations outside.
  • The different light modes come in handy depending if you want to be seen or see objects on road.
  • It's nice to be able to see road hazards on the brightest setting and use the flash mode during the day commute to work.
  • The light is bright and definitely gets the job done.

What customers say about "Features"
Cygolite Metro 550 USB Rechargeable Bike Light
  • Mounting is a strong point. The metal quick-release mount is very secure, as is the plastic sliding release mount.
  • The light's mount works effectively and is suitably stable.
  • The light has also been resistant to water so far, including rides in moderately heavy rain.
  • The charging port is accessible while it’s on the bike and it’ll run with the battery plugged in.
  • Mounting on the handlebar is simple, easy to move from bike to bike. Once it's in place on the bare, the lamp can be clipped in and out of the base bracket easily.
NiteRider Lumina Micro 550 Lumens Cree LED Bicycle Headlight USB Rechargeable
  • The included handlebar mount is narrow and fits nicely on my crowded handlebars where I have a second set of brake levers.
  • A great rechargeable light. Offers variable brightness, as well as steady and flashing light output.
  • The bracket holding the light fits snuggly and doesn't move around like the older mount did.
  • The mounting straps are easy to fit, allowing them to be removed with ease and charging is quick.
  • Easy mounting, quick release removability and USB charging.

What customers say about "Power"
Cygolite Metro 550 USB Rechargeable Bike Light
  • It’s still brand new but so far battery life is great.
  • The charging ability via USB is very handy as well.
  • The burn time as advertised on the box seems accurate and I have had no problem recharging with the usb on my work and home computers.
  • Very good light unit, battery last long time.
  • Low also will run for something like 9 hours, I think, so I don't have to worry about the light getting tired before I do.
NiteRider Lumina Micro 550 Lumens Cree LED Bicycle Headlight USB Rechargeable
  • Battery life on every setting outside of the highest setting is very good to great(20 hours on 40lm, 7 hours on 125lm, 7 hours on flashing, and 3 hours on 300lm).
  • Nice portable, bright light with long lasting battery.
  • They are user friendly and have reasonable battery consumption. Tough construction and durable.
  • These are very bright in their performance, giving multiple settings and hours of usage.
  • Battery life is solid. I don't know what its full limit is, but I've used it for about two hours on high and it still had power.
