What customers say about "Key Specs"

PreSonus Eris E3.5 3.5" Near Field Studio Monitor (Pair)
  • It's as loud as you would need for small areas/where 3.5" monitors would be appropriate.
  • These are pretty awesome studio monitors. I use them primarily for mixing and recording metal.
  • Fantastic speakers are turning me into an audiophile! It was a big leap from my L-Cheap-o $10 USD generic computer speakers.
  • Completely blown away by the sound and physical quality of these monitors.
  • These powered speakers offer 25w per channel and amazingly good sound.

What customers say about "Size & Weight"

PreSonus Eris E3.5 3.5" Near Field Studio Monitor (Pair)
  • Professional look that isn't flashy and full of leds trying to call attention to itself.
  • The best features are the convenient size, light weight, and the acoustic tuning.
  • I was drawn to these speakers for compact size and configuration. These were the smallest self powered set of speakers I could find with good reviews.
  • Excellent bass response and overall great volume for their size.
  • Surprisingly cabinet build quality feels cheap. Not a big miss, but hurts a little.

What customers say about "Audio"

PreSonus Eris E3.5 3.5" Near Field Studio Monitor (Pair)
  • They seem to handle everything well with great sound quality and imaging.
  • They really shine in the midrange and treble frequencies.
  • Terrible low end, higher in level than my HS8. Definitely not flat, strongly colored by bass.
  • Very sensitive to external issues such as multiple things plugged into a surge protector or devices powered around the speakers.
  • The monitors are EXTREMELY sensitive to my iPhone's radio signal and I can't have the phone anywhere near them.

What customers say about "Features"

PreSonus Eris E3.5 3.5" Near Field Studio Monitor (Pair)
  • These have many built in protection circuits. Looks like they are fear nothing.
  • Comfortable front controls (power button, volume knob, Aux & headphone inputs).
  • I have these running through my audio interface, and the volume is more than loud enough, and they have a very clean sound. I would highly recommend these speakers!
  • Main issue is the lack of integrated RF protection.
  • These speakers appear to be built better and more solid materials for the speaker itself.
