What customers say about "Key Specs"
Crucial MX200 500GB mSATA Internal Solid State Drive (CT500MX200SSD3)
  • The speed increase in video processing is incredible. Videos that took 30-40 minutes to render in MPEG 4, from AVI files, now take 5-8 minutes. Almost a factor of 10 speed increase.
  • FAST boot times. Seriously, everything flies on this thing.
  • The space increase is exactly what I needed, and there was a modest yet expectable increase in performance (BIOS time decrease, read/write speed increase). Highly Recommend. Will change to 5 stars if it never breaks ;)
  • Love this, added it to a Lenovo laptop and installed Windows 10 Pro. Extremely fast boot up time. Would highly recommend if you have never tried a Msata drive before.
  • Very speedy, but did not increase my boot time as fast as I expected. Perhaps this is because my motherboard is 5 years old or because I did not reinstall Windows.
  • Not as fast as expected. Reading times are below average, but writing are ok. The main problem here is that the ENCRYPT WHOLE DISK feature ONLY works if you have a WIN 8 PRO version with BITLOCKER. Otherwise, forget about this feature.
Crucial MX300 Solid State Drive
  • Can't beat this for it's speed and capacity at this price.
  • I bought a small capacity 275GB drive because I needed it to run software not store data. I use my old drive in an external drive bay for storage.
  • What a huge speed and performance improvement over the old HDD.. Truly amazed.
  • Since install it’s been an immediate and huge improvement with Read and write speeds 4x faster according to speed tests! Been working great and have no complaints. Would recommend!
  • The read and write speeds are more than satisfying. I am running this as an audio library drive for Kontakt and Maschine. Works excellent. No problems.
  • The only reason I gave this two stars, is that most people wouldn't actually see this performance drop. It's really specific to a large writes.

Crucial MX200 500GB mSATA Internal Solid State Drive (CT500MX200SSD3)
  • I already use Crucial SSD drives in my other computers, so it was a no-brainer for me to purchase another for this one. I created a recovery drive from Acronis and booted up with it and was able to copy my old drive to this new one in no time.
  • Great SSD for the money. Installed in my 2008 Mac Pro 3,1 with 0GB Mercury Accelsior M PCI Express card. Plug and play SSD and breaths new life into my 7 year old Mac Pro
  • Free software to move your OS with a key. It's easy to use but you'll have to search for the program because its not supported no more from the manufacture site. Do a detail search my be 20 minutes to a hour or two to find the exact software version to use the key.
  • I bought this as the OS drive of a low-power small form-factor server. After putting it all together, I realized this new case didn't have a 2.5" bracket like the old case of the same brand. What a noob move! LOL.
  • Acronis didn't work correctly for me. I didn't have space to clone my entire hdd onto the new drive, but I wasn't able to get it to exclude items. It tried for a while but then would just take me back to a previous screen.
  • Acronis Software search is a pain to search for the actual application
Crucial MX300 Solid State Drive
  • This drive is somewhat lighter than the drive it replaced and the form factor is virtually identical.
  • I used it to upgrade an old laptop & the form factor was perfect. It fit the HD compartment exactly as it should.
  • Running it at Sata 3 GB/s & working smoothly so far.
  • These drives utilize Micron 3D-Nand technology and have extremely fast upload/download transfer rates. They are extremely reliable and are priced substantially lower than other manufacturers.
  • Acronis cloning was a bit of a pain. Took too much time to clone but after a 3 hours of troubleshooting I managed to clone my Windows 10 installation successfully.
