What customers say about "Key Specs"
Crucial BX200 240GB Internal Solid State Drive
  • One thing I did do after is install Crucial's Storage Executive software. It uses a tool called Momentum Cache which speeds up the drive even faster. also has Firmware updates on the software.
  • Speeds are good, I can barely tell anymore between SSD drives, I have used crucial, intel, munchkin and I use them for different use cases. If you have the money always go Samsung, but this works well in my 2011 Macbook 17"
  • I work in the IT department, we are replacing hdd with ssd on some of our computers that are 2-3 years old. Our end user's are very pleased with the increase in read in write speeds. This is a great product for increasing computer performance
  • This is a great drive for what it is. It is a cheap ssd that will offer a huge increase in speed for casual users.
  • There are performance issues with larger files (You can read about this everywhere online) but most casual users (email, facebook, youtube) will be just fine.
Crucial MX300 275GB 3D NAND Internal SSD
  • Can't beat this for it's speed and capacity at this price.
  • I bought a small capacity 275GB drive because I needed it to run software not store data. I use my old drive in an external drive bay for storage.
  • What a huge speed and performance improvement over the old HDD.. Truly amazed.
  • Since install it’s been an immediate and huge improvement with Read and write speeds 4x faster according to speed tests! Been working great and have no complaints. Would recommend!
  • The only reason I gave this two stars, is that most people wouldn't actually see this performance drop. It's really specific to a large writes.

What customers say about "Features"
Crucial BX200 240GB Internal Solid State Drive
  • The startup speed is speedy and very quiet. Windows 10 didn't like being cloned, but after a few bumps it works great. I can use this as an external drive when I replace my computer this year with an external enclosure.
  • I use Ubunut, and the computer is basically a living room computer for the kids to do homework one, the wife to do the budget, and it runs Plex. So it doesn't get used to hard. happy with it so far.
  • Solid state drives are the way to go.....this SSD works 10x faster then my factory sata hard drive almost like theres a ram upgrade , but its just the power of the SSD
  • If you are a power user or gamer you should know this drive is not for you. I installed this on a 2010 iMac which had a failing HDD (WD Blue) and the speed difference is amazing. It performs like a brand new iMac.
  • Would I recommend it? Yes, if you wish to add this to a notebook that needs a cheap SSD or an older machine. If you want to blow the SATA3 interface to bits with 550-600Mbps then go to a Samsung or such.
Crucial MX300 275GB 3D NAND Internal SSD
  • This drive is somewhat lighter than the drive it replaced and the form factor is virtually identical.
  • I used it to upgrade an old laptop & the form factor was perfect. It fit the HD compartment exactly as it should.
  • Running it at Sata 3 GB/s & working smoothly so far.
  • These drives utilize Micron 3D-Nand technology and have extremely fast upload/download transfer rates. They are extremely reliable and are priced substantially lower than other manufacturers.
  • Acronis cloning was a bit of a pain. Took too much time to clone but after a 3 hours of troubleshooting I managed to clone my Windows 10 installation successfully.
