What customers say about "Technical Specifications"

Intel Core i5-6600K Quad-core 3.50 GHz Socket H4 LGA-1151 Processor
  • All i can say is that you can run games in 4k at over 60 fps and OBS rendering at 1080 at 60fps. Running mine at 4.8 ghz on all cores.
  • When I use Core-temp its free download to look how safe temperature during the game and its seem okay with almost less then 40c (104f) and its very fast processor.
  • I've had no issues with gaming, software, or any other tasks running on my PC. Temperature sits at around 24-27 degrees C, not using stock cooler, and can take any of the games I've thrown at it.
  • I have owned this processor for 9 months. It is an excellent buy for the money. I have had very stable temperatures using a Hyper 212 Evo. Would recommend this to anyone upgrading on a budget.
  • Standard Intel processor. I have not overclocked or adjusted this CPU. The temperature runs around 40C when lightly loaded like now whilst writing this review and around 51C when I am running intense database search activities so I am very pleased with the performance.

What customers say about "Cache And Memory Specifications"

Intel Core i5-6600K Quad-core 3.50 GHz Socket H4 LGA-1151 Processor
  • Used this processor for my friends gaming build. Does the job great and is very fast and cool. Temps do not exceed 43 degrees Celsius on air cooling.
  • This processor very fast and easy to install, i like it. It worth it. I would recommend it. I am very satisfy with my purchase. I would buy it again. Thank you
  • I can't complain, this processor is fast and efficient. Right out of the box I was getting 3.9 Ghz without any overclock. Time will tell about its longevity, but so far no BSOD's. I do wish it was slightly more energy efficient.
  • New DDR4 memory has been a disappointment too (but finally improving in price and clock speed).
  • Also Skylake CPU is overall no faster than the previous generation. New DDR4 memory has been a disappointment too (but finally improving in price and clock speed).

What customers say about "Supported Technologies"

Intel Core i5-6600K Quad-core 3.50 GHz Socket H4 LGA-1151 Processor
  • I had no need for hyperthreading so I did not boost to an i7. I am running this on an Asus motherboard with liquid cooling to the CPU and a Nvidia GTX 970. I primarily play World of Warcraft and while making use of a G sync monitor I am pulling about 1 billion frames per second.
  • Works like a charm. Runs real cool and got a good boost clock of 4.2 Ghz.
  • Great CPU. personal turbo boost isn't too great, but that's okay. I'll overclock it when I get a water cooler.
  • Amazing cpu for gaming. Super fast. Got mine OC'd stable at 4.5ghz on air cooling. Had an FX-8350 before this and what a huge difference. FX-8350 ran super hot compared to the i5-6600k. Huge performance boost in CPU heavy games over FX-8350.
  • I have been running this @ 4.5 GHZ for 2+ months with absolutely NO boost in voltage. Been running at that speed since I purchased it, rock solid stable - I also used Prime 95 for a few hours as well as Cine-bench to confirm stability.

What customers say about "Graphics Specifications"

Intel Core i5-6600K Quad-core 3.50 GHz Socket H4 LGA-1151 Processor
  • Its pretty fast, and the integrated graphics are doing wonder while I wait for my GPU to arrive!
  • Integrated graphics are actually doing pretty well. I am playing blade and soul with no gpu at high settings in 1080p and I get around 35-40 FPS.
  • At the time I bought this proccessor I didn't have a GPU so I was stuck with the integrated graphics for a while. At 1080p I was impressed with the performance of the HD 530 graphics.
  • Best i5 ever.. this thing is really fast every game i throw at it is getting destroyed right now i am using the onboard graphics
  • I have played Fallout 3 and Skyrim using the Intel HD graphics built into the CPU and I have been impressed (I figured I would try it just to see how it runs). However I am playing on a 1080p TV screen so its not as demanding as the high resolution monitors.
