Husqvarna 580BTS is the most powerful commercial back pack blower designed for demanding tasks. Large air flow and high air speed are provided by an efficient fan design together with the powerful X-Torq® engine. Commercial grade air filter gives long operating time and trouble free use. The harness has wide shoulder straps.
For the commercial operator, RedMax is easily the industry leader in terms of the selection and performance of power blowers. The EBZ8500 backpack blower features the Strato-Charged 2-stroke engine with ultra-low emissions and high power. With a 75.6 cc displacement and 4.4 horsepower, the EBZ8500 produces a maximum air speed of 206 MPH with tube air flow approaching 908 CFM. The Max Cooled back pad uses air sucked by the fan housing to cool operators and keep them comfortable during hot days. Wide straps and contoured back pad are oversized for greater comfort. The frame mounted throttle virtually eliminates downtime due to damaged cables.

- This thing is a beast. Husqvarna acquired the redman blower and this is the biggest blower with the highest CFM of all blowers.
- CFM is more important than MPH for moving items such as leaves or anything with mass. MPH is important for example in getting in the cracks of a driveway and removing sand or dirt.

- I brought this blower along with a shtl blower and I've decided to buy another REDMAX. THIS is the best blower pound for pound on the market. You won't find a blower better for less.
- Absolutely great for blowing large piles of leaves, rocks and small animals! Worked commercial jobs and this is the most powerful blower I've used.
- As for leaves in the Fall, it works so good that what should takes hours and hours of raking you can do in no time. When working close in, just throttle back and you can create concentrated piles of leaves for pickup or burning.
- It cut my clean time by two thirds. It even works on wet leaves no problem. It gets everything out from those corners no raking. It is a bit louder (use ear protection) but has 10 times the power.
- This thing is a beast. As a commercial landscape company this is the best blower available.

- It is heavier than my other blowers but the blower harness is well made distribute the weight very well. Once you start moving and working you won't feel it.

- It is heavy and a 2 stroke (meaning you have to mix gas/oil) but relatively stingy on fuel use but it also has a rather small tank so you might have to fill it up every now and then.

- The slide trigger maintains the blower speed at a certain speed.
- This machine kicks butt!! I have used back pack blowers for years! Nothing with the power this one has! its easy to start easy to gas up and pretty light tooand the joy stick throttle is great you control how much wind you need!!!
- Simple to use, starts easily, not too loud on the ears nor too heavy to wear.
- The straps are wide and comfortable which evens out the weight as you carry it for a long periods of time.

- I like right side hand controller on husqy better but thats only one thing. Redmax starts better, pushes harder and is prob best one available to date
- Don't forget, its not only about speed out of the pipe. You also have to consider air volume.
- I also had the motor mounts loosen and shred the fan. Covered by warranty if you buy from a dealer.

- The power of this unit surpasses my previous units and makes yard work that much faster and easier.
- Good size fuel tank for a continuous long lasting full power.
- It does eat some fuel, BUT for the amount of work it does, I will gladly stop and feed it more often than my Stihl.
- Large tank keeps me going 90 minutes on full throttle, or over 2 hours when I am varying the power. I'm looking forward to winter to see what it will do to the snow!
