What customers say about "Blade"
Buck Knives 120 General (0120BRS-B) 5160 BOS Carbon Steel Fixed Blade Knife W/Sheath
  • It has given me many good years of service in lots of different circumstances. It does a great job in both gutting and skinning.
  • Like my other Bucks, I expect it will do the job I bought it for, in this case, fairly heavy duty outdoor use.
  • The blade is slightly sharper than a standard 120 which is saying something.
  • This knife is a great value. Nice sheath, blade fits well and it is reinforced.
  • Seems like a very good steel and great design, it is high carbonn blade so best practice to oil it lightly after use.
Buck Knives 124 Frontiersman (0124BKSLE-B) Fixed Blade Knife with Leather Sheath
  • The blade is thick up top, but tapers toward the edge nicely to aid in cutting tasks. The spine is quite thick. The fit and finish are excellent.
  • Carried it for 20 years on my web gear while I was in the army. Never let me down. Never chipped a blade. Still cuts like a razor.
  • Blade shape is about perfect and the quality is apparent in every detail.
  • I love the construction of this knife definitely one if not the thickest blade Buck has to offer.
  • My only complaint is the burr on the edge of the blade but I was able to fix that with a little work, less than 10 minutes total.

What customers say about "Size & Weight"
Buck Knives 120 General (0120BRS-B) 5160 BOS Carbon Steel Fixed Blade Knife W/Sheath
  • I have smaller hands, probably medium sized, and I find the handle to fit perfectly.
  • Beautiful knife, well crafted, perfectly balanced and a work of art.
  • This was a Christmas present for my husband. He LOVES it! Nice handgrip, feels natural in the hand. Great balance.
  • Wonderful balance and really light for how big it is, you don't even notice you are wearing it.
  • It's got good balance and great construction. It's a Buck, it meets Buck's quality, and that's good enough for me.
Buck Knives 124 Frontiersman (0124BKSLE-B) Fixed Blade Knife with Leather Sheath
  • It's a nice knife. Big. Thick full tang. The handle is full and the large guard is very nice and comfortable. Weight is shifted back into the handle.
  • The balance, quality, detail, geometry, sharpness, weight, every aspect of it is perfect!
  • This is a big knife, and has some weight to it. Over all I really like it and I would buy it again.
  • It has excellent balance, and feels as solid as any knife I have ever handled.
  • I could see the size and weight of this knife being too much for a smaller person.

What customers say about "Features"
Buck Knives 120 General (0120BRS-B) 5160 BOS Carbon Steel Fixed Blade Knife W/Sheath
  • This is my EDC knife. Its very beautiful and I show it to everyone.
  • Nice sheath as well. In 30 something years, Buck has never failed to produce a quality product for me.
  • I will have this knife for a very long time, very pleased... The sheath is decent.
  • It really seems like a piece of artwork and is quite stunning. The sheath it comes with pairs very well with the knife.
  • The Sheath - quality leather and looks like it will last a lifetime as well. Thank you Buck.
Buck Knives 124 Frontiersman (0124BKSLE-B) Fixed Blade Knife with Leather Sheath
  • The handle is full and the large guard is very nice and comfortable. Weight is shifted back into the handle.
  • The handle is a little blocky but still comfortable and gives a nice sturdy grip.
  • The "corners" of the handle help the user maintain the index of the knife and resist the handle turning or twisting in the hand.
  • The 124 certainly looks like it could handle most situations from prepping wood for a fire or building shelters.
  • The handle is really big, I wear x-large gloves and when gripping this knife theres still room for another whole finger!
