What customers say about "Size & Weight"
Klipsch R-28F Floorstanding Speaker (Each)
  • Build quality is great, I feel like if these fell it wouldn't be the end of the world and the woofers do not feel like they are made of tissue paper and held in with staples like some other brands
  • Like others have said these speakers are huge and heavy. Make sure you have room for them.
  • Be aware, these speakers are BIG. Make sure you have the proper room to give them and let them breathe before buying them.
  • This item cost a lot, and is heavy and large.
Klipsch RP-280F Floorstanding Speaker - Ebony (Each)
  • Size wise, these better fit the large room they now live in
  • Great built quality , very heavy you will need a help to move it
  • Awesome sounding speakers I love them they are heavy and packaged very well
  • Bigger in size than i expected.

What customers say about "Audio"
Klipsch R-28F Floorstanding Speaker (Each)
  • Sound quality for the price range is fantastic
  • Extremely efficient, you wont need to pump a constant 1 million giggawatts into these to get great sound
  • The mids and highs are so clear that listening to my favorite songs is like hearing them for the first time because it sounds so good.
  • These speakers are phenomelly loud. I drive them with a modest Marantz NR-1504 receiver. I don't really consider myself an adiophile, but these speakers sound great to me
  • The only negative I would say about these speakers is they don't have great lows, but a subwoofer will fill that void
Klipsch RP-280F Floorstanding Speaker - Ebony (Each)
  • These speakers make a great addition to a home theater surround sound system. However, they really shine when being used for listening to music.
  • They are very crisp and clear producing no distortion. Mid and high frequencies are fantastic from this set, Bass production is good and very clear but not overpowering, does not product a ton of thundering thump
  • These speakers really shine with Jazz, Classical, Rock and Roll, blues, etc. Vocals, horns, guitars, pianos, drums, etc. all sound amazing.
  • Excellent sound quality. Love the sound love the look, specially without the felt covers.
  • The bass is by no means bad, but probably not the best option for an avid hip hop listener. wanting to shake the house

What customers say about "Features"
Klipsch R-28F Floorstanding Speaker (Each)
  • The style stands out and you have the option of putting the grills on for a more "standard" look
  • Speaker is first rate. Bottom stand leg supports can be removed for horizontal installation.
  • Great sound - works well with my Jolida tube system. Very clear.
  • I was using an older Denon 7.1 surround sound receiver with these speakers. My wife bought me a new Yamaha receiver recently as a gift. The new receiver has the automatic room equalization feature. This really helped with the sound from these speakers.
  • The speaker grills were disappointing. They work themselves off slowly and not due to vibrations. They don't seem to have exactly the correct dimensions needed to align with the mounting holes without placing tension on the posts
  • The grills are made of flimsy plastic which belies the premium speakers these are supposed to be. Since the grills are not necessary, this isn't a deal killer albeit disappointing. The speakers looks great with or without them.
Klipsch RP-280F Floorstanding Speaker - Ebony (Each)
  • This and the HK receiver were a GREAT buy. super tv and audio sound for music and movies. cant go wrong with this.
  • Make sure to give them plenty of space and don't place too close to walls
  • The ceramatalic woofers are bit too ostentatious for my taste, but the magnetic grills cover them up giving your room two monoliths producing sound nearly worthy of evolving Humanity into a more music-appreciating species
  • The speakers do come with black magnetic grills, but the trademark copper spun cones are so attractive and match the decor of my room so well I elected to leave them off.
  • My only complaint is that after unpacking and putting them into place, I became determined never to move houses again – because the thought of having to move these things again is daunting (they are not petite).
