What customers say about "Size & Weight"
Klipsch R-26F Floorstanding Speaker
  • The speaker is nice looking with or without the cover. This thing is heavy too!
  • Bumping into it isn't going to send it flying or even moving under most circumstances.
  • My first impression was that they where heavy, they are beautiful and well made and they sound beautifully filling the living room
  • Great sounding speakers they say medium to small room I don't know what size is small because they put out a great sound you get
  • Very heavy but sound very good
Klipsch R-28F Floorstanding Speaker (Each)
  • Build quality is great, I feel like if these fell it wouldn't be the end of the world and the woofers do not feel like they are made of tissue paper and held in with staples like some other brands
  • Like others have said these speakers are huge and heavy. Make sure you have room for them.
  • Be aware, these speakers are BIG. Make sure you have the proper room to give them and let them breathe before buying them.
  • This item cost a lot, and is heavy and large.

What customers say about "Audio"
Klipsch R-26F Floorstanding Speaker
  • Well worth the price for a great sound ....if highs and lows is what you're looking for this speaker is definitely worth a audition
  • The floor speaker when playing music ever note is so clear.
  • Great sound with clear low, mid and high frequencies. Great price for the high quality. Also looks great without the cover.
  • The strength is that it produces "as is" sound, which is crisp and bright.
  • Added 2 of these to turn my surround from 5.1 to 7.1!! They were perfect size for my room, tweeters are clear and crisp and bass adds just the right amount of depth!!
  • Sounds more muddy. I was much happier with a pair of reference premeir bookshelf speakers.
  • If you want Klipsch high quality speakers then don't buy these. They're made a little cheaper and your listening experience will pay for it.
Klipsch R-28F Floorstanding Speaker (Each)
  • Sound quality for the price range is fantastic
  • Extremely efficient, you wont need to pump a constant 1 million giggawatts into these to get great sound
  • The mids and highs are so clear that listening to my favorite songs is like hearing them for the first time because it sounds so good.
  • These speakers are phenomelly loud. I drive them with a modest Marantz NR-1504 receiver. I don't really consider myself an adiophile, but these speakers sound great to me
  • The only negative I would say about these speakers is they don't have great lows, but a subwoofer will fill that void

What customers say about "Features"
Klipsch R-26F Floorstanding Speaker
  • The strength and weakness of Klipsch is its horn, its aluminium tweeter. The strength is that it produces "as is" sound, which is crisp and bright.
  • The sound from these speakers is top notch, sure you can spend more but it's not necessary. Klipsch might not be for you only because of the horn technology, could be bright for some ears. I am happy to own
  • The quality of the speakers is obvious. Down to the size and build of the little rubber feet. The grill fits beautifully. I just can't think of anything bad to say about them.
  • The weakness is that some people dont like bright high frequencies, and they prefer a more musical tone, eventhough it may not be a perfect reproduction
Klipsch R-28F Floorstanding Speaker (Each)
  • The style stands out and you have the option of putting the grills on for a more "standard" look
  • Speaker is first rate. Bottom stand leg supports can be removed for horizontal installation.
  • Great sound - works well with my Jolida tube system. Very clear.
  • I was using an older Denon 7.1 surround sound receiver with these speakers. My wife bought me a new Yamaha receiver recently as a gift. The new receiver has the automatic room equalization feature. This really helped with the sound from these speakers.
  • The speaker grills were disappointing. They work themselves off slowly and not due to vibrations. They don't seem to have exactly the correct dimensions needed to align with the mounting holes without placing tension on the posts
  • The grills are made of flimsy plastic which belies the premium speakers these are supposed to be. Since the grills are not necessary, this isn't a deal killer albeit disappointing. The speakers looks great with or without them.
