The difference in speed is incredible, really snappy performance and very useable again.
Superb piece of kit - used this to convert a customers slow and old HDD to new and quick SSD on a macbook pro.
The 256Gb version and higher have the better write 560/520mbps speeds compared to the lower Gb ADATA SSD's which drop down to 560/300mbps. And you can notice the difference.
Work well. Faster than many in speed tests

It comes with a spacer to put under the drive since it is a little thinner than a normal hard drive.
Fantastic! My 2011 Dell Inspiron N7010 began to run extremely slow. So I bought this new SSD, a little larger than my current HDD. My laptop runs like it was new, really.
This SSD breathed new life into my Dell XPS 8300 - now it's lightning fast! I am happy that I bought this SSD. ;-) See if yours is compatible, and pull the trigger!
I buy it and now my laptop is now blazing fast. I was so pleased, I immediately bought another Crucial SSD for my daughter's laptop.
Slower to boot than my old standard hdd. Slower file transfer. Only slightly faster opening programs.

It features intelligent SLC caching and a DRAM cache buffer to boost read/write up to 560 MB/s and 520 MB/s.
It took about an hour to clone my original hard drive (bought a USB to SATA cable at the same time); and it was a very easy and quick (10 mins max) to swap the drives.
In terms of backing up your data, ADATA provides a tool to clone your old drive onto the new one.
Fitting is dead easy but will obviously depend on your laptop / desktop. It was easy in mine, got the bottom cover off, few screws and the disk tray was out.
This drive has been fitted to 2 laptops and seen 3 operating systems with no issues (I like to test my kit!).

Quick easy installation. Programs run very quickly and no problems thus far. System is running much cooler as well.
The install is not complex, but needs attention to detail. The computer boots up much faster, apps run faster, it is quieter, and probably runs cooler.
After installing, the dream came alive. Laptop boots so quickly, and the battery life, heh, I can't brag enough about it. If you look up my pc, you'll know it's pretty much like a Hummer.
After installing boot time has almost disappeared; converting music files, etc, is miraculously fast. Anything disk intensive is just amazing.
After less than one year of use in a PC as the primary drive it's Master Boot Record got corrupted.I was able to reformat and re-image the drive. We will see how long this lasts.
