What customers say about "Size & Weight"
Focal Sphear High-Resolution In-Ear Headphones
  • I wanted something a little higher end so jumped up to these based off of wirecutter and cnets review of them. I ended up putting them in, getting the right fitting tips and I was off.
  • First, as with all IEM's, these do require the proper fitting tip. Once I got them right, I found the following.
  • Best earphones I've owned. They fits in my ears nicely and I've worn them for 4hrs+ while studying without any discomforts.
  • Extremely comfortable. I have never had a pair of headphones where I used the buds that come already installed on it.
  • My complaint is the lack of design quality for fit and functionality. The cables curl easily and become tangled.
  • Fit is fine- in-ears are never going to fit everybody. If Focal can update these and take care of those highs they'll have a winner.
Focal Sphear S Hi-Fi In-Ear Headphones
  • Onto the product, the previous reviews are accurate in stating that the fit is very comfortable. There are 3 different silicone or foam tips separately.
  • There is a good selection of ear plug styles and sizes so everyone should get ones to fit. I have odd eardrums so use a different type in each ear but it works just great.
  • Comfortable: these don't go as far in as other IEMs, so they're really comfortable to wear for longer stretches. Comes with 6 different tips (3 silicon and 3 memory foam...I love the latter).
  • I used the plugs from my old Grado earphones and they fit well and the phones are very comfortable.
  • I found it difficult to get a good fit with the supplied foam and silicone tips as the driver is quite large and the plugs aren't long enough for my ears.

What customers say about "Features"
Focal Sphear High-Resolution In-Ear Headphones
  • Excellent sound, IF you can get them to fit into your ear! I have been using in-ear head phones for many years now. I am very critical of musical quality, so cheap ear buds won't be tolerated.
  • Sound is excellent quality and overall true representation without any excessive highs or lows.
  • These are simply the best Universal-fit IEMs I've ever tried. They have an amazing sound stage that makes them punch far above their pricepoint.
  • The control buttons in the middle of the headphones is perfect.
  • Sound isolation is not as great as some other buds I have used but almost seems more open. The symbol on the outside of the drive is a mesh which you can move air through. I prefer an open design so perhaps it enhances the quality of the sound.
  • Wow, these earphones sound like crap. It is only high end EQ with no lows and little mids.
Focal Sphear S Hi-Fi In-Ear Headphones
  • The noise isolation with the silicone tips are more than sufficient. There is minimal sound leak from the environment. Meanwhile, I do a fair amount of walking to work. I do not plan on being ran over.
  • The sound is very good if not a little bright.
  • Nice neutral sound. Sparkly highs which I expect to soften given other people's reviews and adequate bass which I expect to improve too but I guess it's never going to be excessive.
  • Balanced sound that has plenty of power in high, mid, lows...without being fatiguing. In comparison, the M2s are a bit too aggressive in the mids and highs (in Crowded House's "Weather with you", the S-sounds in the vocals became annoyingly harsh).
  • The sound quality is very good. The mids and highs are very crisp. The bass is weaker than some other headphones.
  • There is very little noise isolation which may or may not be important to some.
