What customers say about "Key Specs"
Burley Design Encore Child Bike Trailer, Blue
  • Great design, only a few things I might not love about it. It is pretty small. My kids are twins about 20lbs a piece and they don't have much elbow room.
  • Love this for grandchild (purchased when 9mnths and now 10mnths). Use w Burley soft support seat for now for extra support ( although baby sits and holds head well).
  • Absolutely loooove this! We bought the attachment to turn it into a stroller and It's so easy to push, even with my 6 and 4 year old in it.
  • My son loves to ride and I feel safe having him behind the bike.
  • Works great as a trailer, not so great as a stroller. The handle shifts when you push on it, doesn't actually lock. Makes it hard to lift the front wheel to turn.
Burley Design D'lite Child Bike Trailer
  • Asked my father to get this for our new twins. Living in NYC without a car, this has become our best mode of transportation.
  • Decided to get the two-seater because weight and cost differential seemed minor, and has extra space, etc, etc -- no regrets about that.
  • We recently upgraded to a Burley D'Lite to accommodate our growing family. It fits our 2 and 4 year old comfortably.
  • I drag both kids around (still) to the local market and have plenty of room for our groceries.
  • I uses the trailer for two toddlers (50lbs+ total). Very stable when towing.

What customers say about "Construction"
Burley Design Encore Child Bike Trailer, Blue
  • Enjoying it almost every weekend. Some times the push button is not easy to press and release. But other than that I am very satisfied with my purchase of this product.
  • Burley quality is amazing. This buggy is built for easy and safety. I bought this for my daughter and she loves it.
  • Wheels have quick release. Sun visor for the riders is fantastic. Storage in the back. Aluminum frame is square tube strong and really light weight.
  • When you fold the "rollbar/jogging handle" back, it seems like it folds out of the way but doesn't quite stay where expected, and has fallen out before. I wish there was a better place to pass a lock through.
  • Small con here I wish there was a velcro patch towards the bottom of the passenger cover on each side to aid in making it a little tighter.
Burley Design D'lite Child Bike Trailer
  • I've had the trailer now for 6 years and it's still as awesome as the day I bought it, lasting through 2 kids!
  • And the double stroller wheels? Worth the money all day. They push like a hot knife through butter.
  • I liked the features on this model - adjustable suspension, collapsible construction, ability to convert to a jogger.
  • This unit is extremely well built and super smooth.
  • We love how quickly it folds and unfolds. I don't think you can go wrong with the Burley d'Lite!

What customers say about "Features"
Burley Design Encore Child Bike Trailer, Blue
  • Lots of storage space w just one baby inside. Easy to collapse & put back together.
  • Overall we like the Encore. However, we wish it were a bit easier to change from bike tow, to jogging stroller, to stroller.
  • This model also has many options like a cross country option... It feels like it will last for generations. It's that good!
  • I wish there was a way to un latch the back plastic "window" to allow for more airflow on warmer days, though my daughter doesn't complain about it being too hot in there.
  • Was slightly disappointed that the trailer flag was split apart when it arrived but thankfully that is a minor detail.
Burley Design D'lite Child Bike Trailer
  • The stable seat, that doesn't sag and taco your kiddo being the most appealing to me.
  • The ride is so smooth, the pockets and storage are more than you even know you needed.
  • We have a three year old buddy who sometimes rides with us to the park and they fit comfortably with drinks, snacks and a diaperbag.
  • No leaks or condensation issues whatsoever. I've towed it approximately 150 miles in aggregate now ... and have no complaints whatsoever. :)
  • The harness system works great! We've had one turn over while riding-I took a turn too sharply and ran one trailer wheel on the curb.
