What customers say about "Key Specs"
Lowepro ProTactic 350 AW A Professional Camera Backpack for 1-2 Pro DSLR Cameras and 13" Laptop
  • The 1DMkIV/100-400 fit great and came out of the side pocket without any trouble; and the extra padding in the main compartment is very nice.
  • There are several little pockets, nooks, and crannies for all your smaller items.
  • Easily to fit two D700 bodies w/ medium / smallish lenses, one D800 body , 3 additional lenses and one SB-900 flash.
  • It has that heavy hard top. I could never put the camera from the top to take advantage of it, the inside dividers were not amenable to that even after playing with them.
  • Allegedly this is for carrying a laptop, but unless your laptop is the size of a Pad, good luck getting it in there.
Lowepro ProTactic 450 AW AW Camera Backpack
  • The extra compartments and pockets are perfect for keys and other little things.
  • The stitching, zippers, materials are all top-notch. Highly recommended!
  • If the material and built is as solid as it looks, I am almost 100% positive this backpack will last me for an eternity.
  • The body of the bag is somewhat rigid, and the top cap is even more rigid.
  • The external pockets are the one knock against these bags - they are tiny.

What customers say about "Size & Weight"
Lowepro ProTactic 350 AW A Professional Camera Backpack for 1-2 Pro DSLR Cameras and 13" Laptop
  • Its compact size and features make it great for day long nature hikes.
  • Light weight, easy to modify the storage compartments.
  • The bag is very comfortable and lightweight to be carrying all day long.
  • This bag does still being small and compact lightweight super comfortable on the trail.
  • The straps are a cool concept but in honesty look a bit weird and make the backpack more bulky.
Lowepro ProTactic 450 AW AW Camera Backpack
  • Comfortable and hangs well even with a lot of weight in the bag.
  • The bag is very similar in size to the Flipside 400, which I also own and like a lot.
  • There is a chest strap, which helps distribute the weight when you fill the bag with equipment.
  • It's a big bag, and it can get heavy simply due to how much you can put it in, so make sure you're able to physically handle it.
  • It is a balance for each photographer between size, final weight and how you want to carry it. For me it will work for urban and landscape journeys.

What customers say about "Protection"
Lowepro ProTactic 350 AW A Professional Camera Backpack for 1-2 Pro DSLR Cameras and 13" Laptop
  • The main dividers, as well as the outside of the inner compartment, are very well padded.
  • The top and side access zippers allow to you to quickly change bodies or lenses without unzipping the entire back side.
  • The zipper access to the main compartment on the backpack is on the side of the backpack against your back, which seems to really help maximize space.
  • Quality materials, very good padding (internal, and in the shoulder straps), fully loaded with camera etc.
  • The bag opens from the back which also has a padded compartment for my 11" MacBook Air and flat compartments for cables and filters.
Lowepro ProTactic 450 AW AW Camera Backpack
  • The bag has Lowepro's usual excellent construction all around, YKK zippers, heavy cloth, good stitching.
  • There is adequate padding on the back, and the waist straps have some good padding as well.
  • It is well-built, sturdy, bang proof, and zips from the back, which is a new design feature I have never seen.
  • As for security, I think it does a great job of keeping things zipped up and hard to access when in the field.
  • This rucksack is great in the field and as it is already is quite weather proof.

What customers say about "Features"
Lowepro ProTactic 350 AW A Professional Camera Backpack for 1-2 Pro DSLR Cameras and 13" Laptop
  • It has adjustable main compartment for your body(s), lenses, and other larger items.
  • The included tripod holder works great for small to medium sized tripods.
  • The molle system, though not the standard size, makes this bag more customizable and expandable than any other camera backpack that I have seen.
  • The only real bad thing I have to say about this bag is the padding on the straps isn't as good as I would hope.
  • The all weather cover does not detach from the bag, and will make it hard to dry out if you ever need to use it.
Lowepro ProTactic 450 AW AW Camera Backpack
  • It's very comparable in many ways to the Flipside 400, but has a lot of features that make it superior in just about every respect.
  • Waist straps are a great size and location, I usually pull these off for daily use because they annoy me but these are night a tight and have a small enough profile.
  • I like that the laptop compartment is large, and it fits my 15.4 inch Macbook Pro perfectly.
  • The bag looks well made. However, the internal dividers are very poorly thought out.
  • The bag isn't quite as comfy with a laptop inside because the compartment is up against your back.
