What customers say about "Key Specs"
Lowepro Slingshot 102 DSLR Sling Camera Bag
  • This is good quality bag, that allows camera 2 lenses, and open space on the top for additional items. Zippers are good, and it made from thick material.
  • The bag material and stitch work is quality as well as strap cushion and compartment dividers inside the bag.
  • It is well constructed with good materials, as any other Lowepro product is. Finally, after 6 years of searching for the right bag, I'm finally satisified.
  • The stitching is heavy and very strong, the materials used are tightly woven and of the highest quality.
  • I cannot 'easily' fit it in the main camera compartment with a Canon 70-300mm lens.
Lowepro Slingshot 202 DSLR Sling Camera Bag
  • The bag's construction is typical Lowe quality, meaning it's good stuff.
  • High quality fabric, padding and zippers along with good stitching mean that this bag is going to be with me for years.
  • Excellent materials, quality, design and price, a diary bag for a city photographer.
  • High quality materials and you can tell a lot of thought went into the design of this product.
  • One negative change is the main compartment does not have the velcro attach material on the side from one end to the other as the 102 did.

What customers say about "Size & Weight"
Lowepro Slingshot 102 DSLR Sling Camera Bag
  • It has a reasonable amount of space for compact and medium length lenses, as well as basic cleaning tools, batteries, Speedlight, filters and memory cards.
  • It really is the perfect size and configuration in its class and definitely for its price range.
  • I feel the size of this bag is better suited to me. The bag works with the 55-300, just not as perfectly as i would have liked. Im sure a 55-200 would fit fine.
  • It supports my limited supplies perfectly and the weight distribution is excellent.
  • The bag just was’t quite the size that I needed. A Canon 70D with a 24-105L f4 was just slightly too much for this bag to handle.
Lowepro Slingshot 202 DSLR Sling Camera Bag
  • It's the perfect size for me at this stage of my hobby. It easily holds a Canon T5i, two lenses, flash attachment, and several other small items.
  • The smaller size does have some advantages. It will not attract too much attention. Places like museums will usually let it go through without any issue.
  • The slingshot carries the weight well especially with the added strap which can attach from the lower right for stability.
  • If you download it completely, it does not properly distribute weight, which causes back pain.
  • Small size that cannot fully accommodate all my accessories.

What customers say about "Protection"
Lowepro Slingshot 102 DSLR Sling Camera Bag
  • There are lots of padding and the materials used look sturdy.
  • I love the tripod holder strap on the side, the waterproof bag that hides on the underside of the camera bag, the quality of the bag is very good.
  • The waterproof rain cover hidden away is a brilliant touch.
  • The bag is well made and has enough stiffness in the walls and the internal padding that you feel your items are safe in the bag.
  • The all weather cover is not exactly waterproof in heavy rain but works well in mist and light rain conditions.
Lowepro Slingshot 202 DSLR Sling Camera Bag
  • I like the waterproof cover that comes out. I have used that a dozen times already with all the rain we have been getting.
  • The Lowepro Slingshot 202 AW has a waterproof coat hidden in the bottom part of the backside for weather protection. It has also a slot to catch the tripod so it won't slide off the bag.
  • I feel comfortable with the zipper and safety locks. I can access the compartment without taking off the bag.
  • I also added small thumb screw locking clips to the zippers that can be tied together and I don't place anything of value in the outer pocket that just has a single zipper.
  • A month later, lightning began to diverge, which made me change it. Upset because i thought that it would last longer.

What customers say about "Features"
Lowepro Slingshot 102 DSLR Sling Camera Bag
  • With the additional strap, it is securely attached to your back and does not move when walking or cycling.
  • You wear this with the shoulder strap diagonally across your chest. There is a small strap to go around your waist to stabilize everything while hiking or climbing.
  • On top of the main padded strap there is a sliding front buckle that allows me to adjust where the secondary strap will hit in front when attached.
  • It does get pretty heavy for a one-strap pack & will start to hurt after caring for a while.
  • Depending on how you have the strap situated, a tripod can protrude out pretty far to the side.
Lowepro Slingshot 202 DSLR Sling Camera Bag
  • The little side strap that connects to the front strap provides additional support and I ended up using this toward the end of the day.
  • Very comfortable over the shoulder strap and the second stabilizer strap secures the bag firmly to your back.
  • It is very convenient, bought my husband as a present, black color. It is such a beautiful black color. Very happy with this purchase.
  • The strap is not as padded/comfortable as is advertised and it cut into my shoulder.
  • The strap is just a little too long to fit well. And, as a female, I've discovered sling bags aren't necessarily the greatest fit in the chest area.
