What customers say about "Key Specs"
BACtrack Mobile (BT-M5) Breathalyzer for IOS and Android Devices
  • The accuracy is unreal. Sure there are times right after a drink it will calculate my sobriety time for sometime tomorrow afternoon, but wait, give it 5 minutes, take sip of water, do it again and it is surprisingly right on.
  • Love it! Read the directions. You have to wait 15 minutes after eating or drinking to get accuracy. I use it mostly for wine tasting in Napa.
  • Works great! Very accurate. In addition to following instructions on waiting at least 15 minutes from last drink to test, it helps to swish out mouth with water to help accuracy. Great for parties and to help convince friends that they are better off getting a ride from someone else.
  • It is very accurate! Has kept me safe and aware of my BAC and it's very handy and portable. I keep it in my purse just in case and it'll read off on my phone with estimated time to sobriety. Very cool and very impressed with the accuracy.
  • You will need to try multiple times and use the average it seem.
  • It’s accurate however the iOS app is cumbersome and location doesn’t work.
  • The device/app has a lot of potential, but the app is buggy, and the readings are markedly different with vs without a mouthpiece (by 0.01 - 0.04 or more).
BACtrack S80 Professional Breathalyzer Alcohol Tester
  • Not only does this tester measure to the thousandths place, it also has features to ensure the most accurate measurement possible
  • It is easy to use and very accurate plus fits on glove box nicely. Been using it for years now and would highly recommend to others.
  • Simple to use. Very accurate. (Compared accuracy to two other devices by other manufacturers.) Super fast results. It functions perfectly. So simple a drunk could use it.
  • I think the most important aspect of a breathalyzer is accuracy and this device is one of the most accurate you can.
  • The only downside is that this product's instruction manual recommends re-calibration every 6-12 months without any place to mail in the unit, or instructions for how to do this. I'd be worried about accuracy in the long run.
  • Okay product to make you think before driving but the accuracy is questionable. With a price tag like this has, I would go a different route.
  • Not so sure on accuracy. But a cool tool to get an idea of where your at with B.A.C

What customers say about "Features"
BACtrack Mobile (BT-M5) Breathalyzer for IOS and Android Devices
  • The unit powers on in about a second, and after you open the app and tap Take Reading, it warms up within about 10 seconds. Results are displayed within another 10 seconds or so.
  • This one takes 10 seconds so it's great for multiple tests. I also like that it hooks up to my smartphone.
  • Another cool feature is it allows you to guess your BAC level so that over time you can get better (hopefully) at guessing your BAC level even without testing.
  • There are many features available, such as "logging" your readings. I use it simply to satisfy my curiosity as to the effects of alcohol in my system. I highly recommend this product.
  • One thing I also find annoying is that for some reason you have to turn on your GPS locations services to use the device.
  • I have a regular BACtrack and prefer it. The blue-tooth is slow and gimmicky. Just get a digital read out, trust me the app is not worth the hassle.
BACtrack S80 Professional Breathalyzer Alcohol Tester
  • Good product and features. You can program the unit to require 3, 5, or 7 second breath samples (the longer, the more accurate). Mine is set to the default 5 seconds and seems to be accurate to within .01% BAC.
  • This unit uses fuel cell technology, which is absolutely what you want. The number of samples that can be taken before requiring recalibration is impressive, and the recalibration only costs $20 (I have not gone through this process yet).
  • 3 digit read out is a good feature. Fast, dependable, and appears to be very accurate.
  • Battery stays charged for a very long time and this is an indispensable addition to my car's glove compartment.
  • One feature I would have liked is a little memory, which it doesn't have.
