- The first time i used it we had 4 adults. Usually when advertised as "4 person" it means 2 person but with this raft we were actually able to fit four people.
- This is no joke a 4 person raft!! It's much larger that I anticipated, not that I'm complaining just surprised is all.
- So this thing is awesome. Looking at it online I was skeptical, i'm a fairly heavy person and so is my husband. I was expecting to tip and rock everywhere....
- Comfortably fit 3 adults and one child - could have accommodated one more person if we squeezed in.
- My only issue it that while it says it is a 4 person boat it really is a 3 person.

- Bigger than expected, well build, and three air chambers are keeping the boat stable enough in the lake
- The intex 5 is amaxing! It has a lot of space, it is sturdy and so fun! We just purchased a trolling motor and can't wait to get it in the water.
- Awesome raft. Easy to modify. Will hold the rated 1300lbs.
- It is absolutely not a 5 person raft though, 2 people and some gear and your good, we took 1 family size cooler and 1 storage container with snacks life vests.
- I love it very spacious...i'm a 300lb guy and I was very comfortable in it. I am going to build a floor for it so I can stand in it but over all it is great.

- The material its made of is super tough and didnt let me down once. The seats are comfortable and the ores work awesome.
- The material is thick and very strong. It is a bit heavy but that kind of has to do with how well made it is.
- Although the material is not quite as good as the reinforced 3ply pvc of the Mariner. This heavy duty pvc Vinyl is quite adequate.
- Durable material and the air pump works well.
- Would like a little more material where the ores go to prevent flexing.

- Sturdy and just what I wanted!!! Perfect!! Hope to have lots of fun (and fish) this summer on Lake Champlain in Vermont!!!
- The product is awesome and is working fine for now. Have to see if it retains its durability long enough.
- Very good quality material by intex. Looks durable and thick.
- The material is vulnerable to punctures and the original repair kit may not be as good as the professional patching kit
- BUYERS BEWARE, the motor mount is made for up to 3HP motors but the boat is only rated for a 1.5HP motor.

Intex Excursion 4 4-Person Inflatable Boat
- River is a bit low soo scraped bottom a couple times and bottom handled it great.
- Seats are a good feature, fish did not pull my pole out of the holder, paddles are good quality and can adjust easily, 3 chamber construction saves springing a leak turning into a disaster.
- The raft has three different inflatable sections so if something goes awry and one of them is punctured (which happened to me) the raft can still get quite a bit of buoyancy.
- The oars are in aluminum, but the knobs that connect one piece to the other are in plastic, and these are usually the parts that break. We rowed quite vigorously on our second time taking the raft out, and one of the oars just broke at the connecting section.
- The repair kit is not very good. When my raft got punctured and I tried to repair it using the kit, the patch I used just came off after inflating the device
Intex Excursion 5 Inflatable Boat Set
- Easy to assemble and take down; great for fishing with a trolling motor attached to the back.
- Although the manual pump works great, it's recommended to go for an electric powered air pump which can inflate and deflate as well.
- It was a little difficult to maneuver with just the oars so we bought a little trolling motor and had a blast!
- It took us today 2.5 hours to inflate the boat. The included manual pump broke in first 10 minutes of inflating.
