As with all saddles you need to get out of it every once in a while, but there is no discomfort. I put 45 miles on it the first day and no numb bits and my sit bones weren't sore after the ride.
This saddle has a well deserved reputation for comfort and durability, so it’s certainly worth a try if you’re shopping for a new saddle.
This Fizik seat is comfortable the whole ride now, I love it!
The contour shape seems to work very well for me and I since I started riding on this saddle, I don't believe I will ever need to switch or try another saddle for a long time.
From long 4+ hour rides to short hard rides, this saddle is as comfortable as it will get for me.

This seat met my expectations and has helped me enjoy my riding much more.
Sure, this seat is much less squishy than my last one, but it really is true that pillowy softness does not equal comfortable when it comes to bike seats.

I've been hunting for the perfect saddle for the better part of 10 years and with this Aliante I've finally found it.
The saddle is firm and plush at the same time. Firm in that I get a solid connection to the bike through it.

I'm a big heavy guy and this is very important to me. I'm now riding 20-30 miles at a stretch without feeling like I'm being impaled.
Very comfortable, for long rides that are over 50 miles.
I needed a saddle that dispersed my weight and didn't have the big gap down the middle. I highly recommend this saddle!
I've used several Fizik Aliantes over the years. The design fits my posterior and the quality is very good.
The black/white color scheme is pretty lame, and white on a bike saddle is just plain dumb, as it becomes dirty white pretty quickly.

So far so good. Feels and looks great!

If you want a relief channel saddle, try a more shallow channel first.
