About the Product
We locked our R&D team in the laboratory and didn't let them out until they had taken the Revolver helmet and turned it into a truly class leading modular worthy of the Bell name. When our engineering team finally emerged, the result was the Revolver EVO.
The HJC IS-Max is a feature-rich modular helmet that features a drop down internal sun visor for cutting down glare and making your ride all that much more enjoyable. A moisture-wicking anti-bacterial liner pulls sweat towards the integrated ventilation channels and the chin bar raises with a single button that is easily operated with a gloved hand.

What customers say about "Key Specs"
Bell Revolver Evo Matte Hi-Viz Yellow/Black Jackal, X-Large
  • Modular design, you can open the front for more airflow and easier donning/doffing.
  • Great helmet, fits perfectly and I love the modular option as well as the internal sun shade.
  • The modular design allows me to put on the helmet with my glasses on and then close the front over them.
  • The Shell is a bit too large....it’s very noisy. You get what you pay for...
HJC IS-MAX Bluetooth Modular Helmet - Small/Silver
  • This lid has really turned me on to modular helmets. I love being able to flip it up when not on the bike...like inside a store, talking to a buddy at a stoplight, etc.
  • The front opens and closes easily. For a modular helmet it is relatively quiet.
  • I really like this helmet. It is my first modular helmet and it fits me perfectly. I love the silver also, very sleek looking.
  • Being modular really helps me keep my glasses on when I don the helmet. Other helmets would make me take my glasses off then try to squeeze them on after.
  • This helmet is made with an advanced polycarbonate composite shell. A polycarbonate is a polymer that contains a carbonate group in its chemical structure. It is a very lightweight durable material.

What customers say about "Size & Weight"
Bell Revolver Evo Matte Hi-Viz Yellow/Black Jackal, X-Large
  • Looks cool. Fits well. Very comfortable and light (relatively).
  • The fit is perfect. snug at first but breaks in easy. Very comfortable, light weight, and well vented.
  • Medium fits very tight for me, I wear a 7 1/4" hat size. My recommendation is to go a size up.
  • Lked the helmet, just didn't fit. My head must be bigger than the largest size, 2X. The size chart is way off. My measurement should have allowed a XL to fit, but the 2X was too small
  • Previously owned a Bell RS-1 full face helmet. I liked the ability to flip up the face of the Bell Evo, but, the Evo is no where near the quality of the RS-1. The XL size is smaller than the RS-1 XL size.
HJC IS-MAX Bluetooth Modular Helmet - Small/Silver
  • It's fairly light, it's really comfortable and inexpensive as crap.
  • Solid construction and still very light weight.
  • It feels very light weight for a modular, the air flow is very good.
  • I went by the measurements for sizes and its too small/shallow when sun visor is down it cant cover my eyes because I must have a tall head great design just doesn't fit me.

What customers say about "Features"
Bell Revolver Evo Matte Hi-Viz Yellow/Black Jackal, X-Large
  • The sunglasses work well at night! The gradient isn't too strong, while still being effective in the daylight. I still ride with sunglasses though, gotta style it up with my Oakleys.
  • Lots of airflow for those riding in warmer climates. The anti-fog coating works excellent.
  • Hands down the best helmet for the money! Comfortable, quiet, great ventilation, and excellent sunscreen built in. I've had more expensive helmets that didn't compare in qualify!
  • Wind noise is horrible! At least compared to my previous helmet, the Speed and Strength SS1700 mod helmet. Wear earplugs.
  • I've put 200 miles on this helmet and I regret to say I am very disappointed. The flow noise is unbearable above speeds of 50mph and it is very bad above 30mph.
HJC IS-MAX Bluetooth Modular Helmet - Small/Silver
  • I really like the air system. The vents work well.
  • The internal sunscreen works well and slides over my glasses with no problem.
  • This helmet also has slots which make it easier for glasses wearers not have too much pressure on the glasses pressing against your face. Fit and finish are good, and the removable padding is comfy and washable.
  • The only flaws that I notice are that the visor is difficult to open and close and it should include a chin curtain, which is an extra.
  • Although the sunshield is very useful, I have had it get stuck a few times. This is very inconvenient while riding, but is usually fixed with a couple hard pushes on the button.
  • Comfortable, the vents work great. However the tab to lower the internal sub visor broke off.
